Love the Nutmeg Inn. Cozy, charming and friendly inn keepers and guests. Fresh homemade breakfast was out of this world. Beautiful grounds and plenty of room to trailer your bike and store the trailer after unloading. Already booked again for next year!

Sadly we had to cancel our reservation for a return to the Nutmeg Inn this year. Both Mark and Lynne were understanding and offered a refund minus a nominal service fee. Their response was quick and professional. Both clearly know the true meaning of hospitality.

Mark and Lynn are wonderful hosts and inn keepers. From the moment you enter the inn and greeted, you feel at home.

The inn itself is a home dating back to the 1700s. It is quaint and charming. The public spaces have parlor games like chess and scrabble.

The rooms are nice sized. The internet is fast. The beds are comfortable. And, the showers are hot.

The Betty part of the stay is breakfast. Mark makes homemade bread each morning that is just wonderful. We were served a cold berry soup and a wonderful frittata. The other guests made farming breakfast companions.

Definitely a place to stay in Meredith.

We had 24 hours to get away from metro Boston and relax. Well, we picked the perfect spot. Clean, quiet, romantic and cozy....we had a great room, a big comfy bed, and a wonderful breakfast in the AM. The two wonderful owners/ innkeepers ( and their cute little dog) are lovely and interesting to talk to and very down to earth. You can tell they take pride in their Inn and they value their guests. Mark and Lynn suggested a great day hike where we went and saw a sweeping view of Lake Winnespasauke. We then drove to Portsmouth NH and had the best sea food dinner on the waterfront. it was a great 24 hours on a lovely day. Our brief stay at Nutmeg was the highlight. Highly recommend.

Room tip: Check room avail to see if room fits your needs.

We were there (two couples) for Laconia's Bike Week in Mid June 2018. This is a beautiful place to stay, cozy, comfy, quiet, and peaceful, a fantastic getaway in which to unwind. I have some experiences with B&B's (all good) but Mark and Lynn are perfectly suited for this. So friendly, so welcoming, so thoughtful and accommodating. The housekeepers were very sweet and helpful too. And let me just tell you about the food, OMG!!!!! We met some great fellow guests and spent great nights around the fire pit. We can't wait to go back and are already booked for next year!!!

I might only wish that there were small refrigerators in the rooms, but that would probably just take away from the atmosphere. When we asked, Mark gave us a small cooler to keep some ice and drinks in, so we didn't miss it much.
