Spent a couple of nights here. Very comfy room. Overlooked the lake. Room had an additional sofa and balcony. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Hotel is right next to road so is somewhat noisy. Likewise the airconditioning in the room. But you soon forget all that when you see the view. If you can, watch the sunrise.
We did the combo train and boat ride on the Washington which is a good way to see things if you're only there for a short time.

Very dated but definitely has some charm. We had a room with outstanding views on two sides. But it was above an outdoor eating area and bar, so the noise was a bit annoying as the hour got later and later into the evening. Walls are thin so you can hear the people next door at inopportune times....

We were at Bay Point Inn for a wedding, at their sister property, Church Landing.
Upon arrival, our room was not ready, and we had to rush to get changed for the wedding. The room was very nice, comfy bed, and of course, as everyone has said, you can't beat the lake/mountain views. That's a given. No argument on that.
There is NO breakfast in the lobby in the mornings, only coffee from a coffee machine...it wouldn't hurt to put out some Danish/donuts etc....and some regular coffee, we were told to go to Church Landing for breakfast, but that the food would probably be gone. Okay, so why would we go?? Our toilet then acted up the next night, no water in the tank itself, the maintenance guy, manager, and 2 housekeeping girls were in our room trying to fix the problem at 10:00 at night. I will say everyone did their best to help out and finally did get us operating enough to get us thru the night...we were shown to this icky little bathroom downstairs, off of the library, oh God, that needed some updating too. The 4 hotels on the same property is deceiving...you have to cross the street to get to one or more of them, just to use the pools....it's crossing 4 lanes on foot to get there, so, breakfast was at one location, pool at another, it was most confusing.
The prices are very high at the hotel, bout $350 per nite, and really, you're only truly paying for the view.
I would think twice before going again. The plumbing needs a MAJOR overhaul. Even Eastern Slope Inn in Conway has industrial style toilets and that place is older!

Room tip: Beware of room 236, it has plumbing issues for sure. Breakfast ONLY at Church Landing

I am sorry to learn of the mechanical difficulties you encountered during your stay with us. Your tranquil visit turned anything but that with the plumbing problem you were forced to endure one evening. It was unfortunate that we were without another guestroom to move you to. In the next few days, you will receive an invite to come back and stay with us so that you experience the true essence of Mill Falls at the Lake.

When you do come back, we hope you will consider staying at Church Landing, which is part of the Mill Falls resort. It sounds as though you would prefer more amenities on site, which Church Landing can offer you.

I hope you had a wonderful time at the wedding. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Thank you,
Gail Batstone

A truly wonderful experience. Petunias abound..right on Lake Winnipesaukee..
Rooms are elegantly decorated with truly comfortable beds...I can't say enough about how very much we loved our visit.
Just wished we lived closer.

We are not complex travelers so I cannot tell you the thread count of the sheets, or the artist of the artwork in the room, but the Bay Point Inn had everything we needed. A boat slip ,mini fridge (with working freezer) a comfortable bed, very clean room and an amazing view. It was so nice to sit on our balcony at night and watch the boats and the people eating at Lago directly below us. The location of this inn is perfect. It offers lake access, walking distance to several great resturants and ice cream shops. We had a great experience and we will be back.

I appreciate your login in name "love-2-c-stuff" and am so pleased you loved to see our "stuff" at Bay Point at Mill Falls! Bay Point certainly has one of the most amazing views of the Lake Winnipesaukee and the Belknap Mountains. Thank you for the lovely review. I hope you will come back to see us again.
