I, too, would have liked to give this hotel a "3.5"--The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Requests for extra blanket, that we might borrow silverware and porcelain cups from the restaurant all accommodated quickly. I was given a day pass to a large health club nearby and enjoyed a yoga class at no expense. The hotel is w/in walking distance of a large and well-stocked co-op grocery store (nice, because we like to buy food and eat in). We had a suite at the end of the hall on the 1st floor--it was an Accessible room, though we hadn't requested and don't require--maybe that's the only (or best?) suite available for our stay? The property is clean and attractive, but not as modern as some of the Residence Inns where we've stayed. For example, the sofa and chairs were worn out and uncomfortable to sit in. (The bed was good, though, and THAT'S important). There is only one real negative --breakfast isn't included in the room price--my husband's buffet breakfast was over $15.00, and that seems a bit steep, esp. breakfast is part of the package for many Residence Inns and hotels of this type. A nice place to stay when in the Dartmouth area, but not a rave.
