This was a nice and quite place to stay with a horse barn next door. There was even a small airport across the street that ran glider flights during the day (no flights at night). Don't worry about noise as there aren't many flights going on and we never really heard much. The had a great breakfast included with our package they we took full advantage of every day. Our kids enjoyed their game room, pool, and hot tub throughout our stay. I would not bring kids that are too young here unless they are fairly well behaved as they do try to keep things quiet and under control which just adds to the ambiance of the place.

This Inn has the most beautiful view of the mountains. It is close to all the different hiking trails in Franconia Notch and has amenities galore. The room was simple, but cute and comfortable. There is a fancy dining room or a bar for the more casual. Being vegan, we weren't sure if we would be able to eat, but they accommodated the menu to fit our needs and our dinner was delicious. There is an outdoor pool and tennis courts right across the street.

My husband and I stayed at Franconia Inn for a romantic weekend getaway and the Inn exceeded our expectations. The Inn was warm and welcoming with distinguished New England charm. The grounds were lovely and we walked all around. There are horses, streaks, open fields, wild flowers and gorgeous mountain back drops. Our room was clean, comfortable, and a nice large king size bed (room 11). There is a full service dining room and a lounge with a full service bar and menu. I didn't enjoy the dinner I had in the dining room but my husband loved his. Breakfast was great every morning. We really enjoyed the onsite lounge. The bartenders were on top of their game and the ambience was friendly and comfortable. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Our all Girl Hiking Group stayed here for 2 nights while hiking Franconia Notch. We have a Wonderful stay! The rooms were comfortable, the check in and out process was super easy, the food was amazing (I'm an industry insider) and all in all, we had a great time. After a hard day of hiking, the pool and hot tub hit the spot and the bar could not have been closer. Thank you Franconia Inn, we all will certainly be referring you to all our friends.

Room tip: There are a variety of rooms - call to see what is the best choice for your group.

In a scenic valley next to an active glider port. Inexperienced but attentive seasonal staff. Good selection of local beers. Food was hot and creative. We had the short rib ravioli; planked salmon (really well done) and paper jack and pickles as an appetizer.
