Fraser Gallop is a must do for me each time I return to Margaret River. The people here know their wines and their wines are superb. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried. Highly recommended.

Last weekend we toured a number of wineries in the Margaret River area of Western Australia, always a treat and something to work into any WA vacation! My favourite tasting was at the Fraser Gallop Estate winery - the wines were very good and Peter, the sommelier, made it a truly delightful experience. He is knowledgeable, personable, engaging, and just a lovely person to spend time with while sipping excellent wines. Peter often set us up with two wines to taste side by side - perhaps oaked/unoaked, or 2013/2018 vintages of the same wines - which made for a more interesting experience.
If you go, and I highly recommend that you do, be aware that there can be an up charge ($5) for some of the more expensive vintages.
Have a look at the fancy new Italian machine that controls the temperature of the wines you are tasting while serving out a calibrated amount for you to sip.

We had not booked for a tasting session, but they accommodated for us with no fuss.
Beautiful wine and lovely winery. Even my husband and son joined in with the session and ended up buying a lovely red wine.

Wow! What a wonderful winery and there wasn’t a wine on the bench I didn’t enjoy. My husband isn’t a white wine enthusiast (which ties in well with being the designated driver for this particular outing) so he abstained from tasting these little beauties but I assured him they were top notch.
Peter was a pleasure to listen to and the wines spoke for themselves shouting ‘quality, taste and a cut above the rest’. We have visited this region multiple times and have never been to this particular estate but that will change from now on. This should be at the top of the ‘where to go list’ as well as Flametree Estate (more excellent wines and Nicole was fabulous - we will return there regularly as well).
Everything was good at Fraser Gallop even the Rose (which I don’t drink) but my favourites were Paterre Chardonnay (don’t forget to try the Ice Pressed Chardonnay- yummy) and Parterre SSB. The winners for reds as judged by my husband and I... Paterre Cab Sav and Cab Merlot. There are several bottles of each now residing at their new home and they will be enthusiastically embraced over the festive season with family and friends.

A lovely place to spend some time enjoying the good things in life!

JackyU_12, thank you so much - it was an absolute pleasure to read your review.
We too enjoy tasting with our weekend cellar door man, Peter, and always manage to learn something new from him.

We're tickled pink that you will put Fraser Gallop Estate firmly on your Margaret River itinerary for future visits, and we really look forward to welcoming you back.

Finally, you'll be pleased to know that we're wrapping up vintage 2019 and it's been another successful year. We look forward to sharing these wines with you!

Went for wine tasting after reading a review from a magazine. The service of the staff is exceptional. Very knowledgeable and we had an amazing time there. Excellent quality wines.
Note: The entrance is not very obvious and we drove passed it a couple of times. The entrance is not the one indicated in google map, instead it’s located next to the entrance of The Grove.
