This casino/hotel is a self-contained experience in that once there, no real need to go offsite as there is so much at your fingertips....gaming, bowling, movie theater etc. The casino is large and well ventilated with a great assortment of table games and slots. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a small refrigerator and microwave for warming up those take out dinners or leftovers. They have just completed a round of room remodels as well as a needed newly designed pool area.

All of these amenities are great but what makes the experience is the very friendly staff who work there to make your stay memorable. Our family host Melissa Koning is the best host in any gaming resort that I am a member. From day one appointed to our account, she has made her presence known and has personally reached out to let us know she is there to make our visits a fun and adventuresome experience. She has always been available to us even when on a personal vacation. Now THAT is a great host who takes care of her clients. Thanks Melissa for your attention, humor, and great style. Your the BEST !!!

When you walk in the line sometimes is pretty long to check in but they always seem to put on extra people to help get you checked it when that is the case. The person that checked us in the first few days we stayed this year was Robert Minjares. ( I hope I spelled it correctly ). Such a nice young man, very pleasant and accommodating, always with a smile and very respectful as he got us checked in. The hotel is clean and we enjoy staying there very much. My only compliant would be the fragrance they have throughout the casino and lobby area... way to much for me . Severs are very good about coming around and always smiling and usually check back in short order to make sure If you want something more they are there.
We usually stay here two times a year for 2-4 days... this last trip 6 days. 4 days in Sept. and 2 in Oct. The pool area is not complete yet but is open .

Room Tip: Prices change depending on events going on in Reno or at their hotel. Week end are always higher

We went to Reno to hear the Band" The Scorpions". We stayed at this resort because the concert was in their theatre. The resort rooms were very reasonable($39A.) with BCAA and they upgraded us to the next level when we arrived. The rooms were clean and good-sized.
There were a variety of restaurants within the resort "Johnny Rockets" was really good with burgers and fries and milkshakes. I wish there had been a couple of restaurants
or coffee shops that were open 24 hours. Opening the buffet for breakfast would have offered another option for variety. All said though, the food was good, plentiful and nicely presented.
It was a very nice stay in a lovely resort. We didn't have time to check out the $4 movies they were showing in the two theatres and we also didn't get bowling or golfing but there's always next time.

Room Tip: Try and stay further down a hallway as the hubs act as conversation gathering sites.

Although i didn’t stay at the hotel, we still had time to take a drive out there (middle of no where) and have a casino night there. It has everything in this place. Sooo many restaurants and shopping centers. Even a bowling alley. Cant leave out the casino lol. Its a delight to have trips out of town. I would definitely come again!!(:

This is for the Casino only. I didn't stay at the hotel. Casino was jumping on Friday night. Good atmosphere and crowd. Played in a low stakes poker tournament at 6:30 PM. Well run poker room with quality dealers. Poker room crowd was heavy with locals. Moved over to the Sports Book - which is on the small side but was great. They have a cigar lounge tucked behind the main TV screen. Nice room with couches and multiple TV's. Only complaint was in regards to the server, Karen. Marginal service and then never returned with change after giving her a $20 bill for $9 of drinks. New server said her shift was over. We moved over to a lively Craps table. Great dealers and fun atmosphere. Casino had all the latest slots and other games. Casino was well maintained and bathrooms were clean. Overall - fun gambling experience. Like most of the casinos in Reno - be prepared for heavy smoke.
