I have been to reno before and i usually visit the downtown strip..As i was looking for hotels, i really wanted to stay around the strip because you have access to other hotels/casinos. but, at that time all the rooms were sold out. I found a good deal on priceline for Peppermill and looked through the reviews and the hotel rooms did not look so bad and they were newly renovated. upon arriving at the casino, they have this beautiful european theme outside. We stayed at the west wing, Supposedly those rooms are non smoking. however, the room we stayed at was filled with smoke. I immediately notified them of this conflict, however they didnt upgrade the room or anything for us but they did offer for us to move to another room. It was late and it was a hassle so we just decided to stay where we were at.. The room was beautifully decorated. however, i did expect a little more for the price they were charging. The bathroom had marble counter tops. The carpet they put in felt nice as well. I thought the room was a little small. Throughout the casino, they had big screen tvs everywhere. To our surprise, this casino was pretty awesome. It was packed with people. We decided to get takeout at the cafe milano, i had the chicken fettucine alfredo, which tasted like something from a tv dinner. bf had a burger which was pretty good. We decided to checkout Edge nightclub, since supposedly thats where its happening at. Its also a plus because their guestlist ends at 12am and the club doesnt end til 5am. they mainly play house/techno music mixed in with top 40s. it was also a plus because our room was 2 minutes walking distance from the club, so we got to go back to the room to drink some more. Even though we were there in a short amount of time, i enjoyed my stay at Peppermill. I would definately come back.. They had everything in one casino, we didnt have to travel anywhere else. The pool area is beautiful. This casino was beautiful inside and out.
