We expected a luxurious experience but were sadly disappointed at
almost every step: The valet parking drops you off miles from the registration
desk, unless you know to park at the hotel registration, which isn't marked valet parking.
Next, we went to find a restaurant in the pool area. The entire area is booming with heavy
bass dance music, you can't escape the reverberating techno beat. The waiter there at the Riva restaurant offered only the most minimal of service: no water refills, and never brought the condiments we requested. This is not the same place we visited several years ago; the room needs refurbishing and looks down at the hills for this price. Go elsewhere; Golden Nugget was alot of fun the previous night and still knows how to treat its guests!!!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for choosing The Venetian as your host during your recent visit to Las Vegas. We are disappointed to learn that your visit was not a complete success, and apologize for the challenges you experienced. We take these matters very seriously and are disheartened to read that a resolution was not reached.

Please also accept our apologies that you found the main pool area to be too noisy. We believe that you will find more delight in our Venezia Pool Garden during your next visit. Located on the tenth floor, the Venezia Pool Garden is lush with beautiful plants. The setting is perfect for a day of leisure and tranquility. With two intimate hot tubs and two large pools, the Venezia pool is your relaxation destination.

We would like to thank you for articulating the details of your experience. It is through communication, such as yours, that we are better able to monitor and improve services for our guests.

We value your patronage, and hope that this atypical experience will not deter you from visiting our property again. Please contact our guest relations office directly should you wish to discuss this further.

Kind regards,

Kirsten Dimond
VP of Hotel Operations

We got 3 nights at the venetian as part of a package travel through Alligant Air in Bellingham, WA, all up for the flights and 3 night is was about $600pp. The Venetian is beautiful, we were blown away with all the detail, it is so clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is everything there you would need and it is very central to exploring the Vegas Strip. We woud definitley go there again. My only complainnnt is that there is no small fridge or kettle in the room for tea/coffee, so everytime you want a hot drink you want a hot drink you have to go down to the casino. You can get them for $25 each a day but not work it for 1-2 drinks of tea/coffee. We were in the Venezian Tower and had a inside room which was very quiet.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, ask to have one toward the middle of the building.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Our suite on the 23rd Floor was very nice, clean spacious with a great view of the strip and swimming pools. The shops here are great the staff friendly and the dining options diverse. We had breakfast in our room most morning ane the staff were friendly and polite.

We had a problem with our transport when leaving the hotel, not their fault, but Bob the Bellman was a real star can't praise him enough, he went above duty to help us and it was much appreciated as we were struggling to find a solution while relying on an English Cellphone. Thanks BOB.

Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

There is no question the Venetian is the best hotel on the strip.
I have stayed at the following 5 hotels, The Venetian, The Mirage, Caesars Palace, The Cosmopolitan and Hard Rock (a little off the strip but still a good hotel). Booking on expedia provides the best packages. The venetian which was by far my favorite hotel gives the most value. your automatically getting a suite, a bath tub and shower, nicer finishings overall and the room is BIG. Breakfast is included at the grand luxe Cafe, internet included and access to the renowned Canyon Ranch gym with classes (like bootcamp etc.) included. It cost upfront a little more, but your getting a lot more, By far my favorite hotel. For food they have Cut steakhouse, Wolfgang Puck and Tao (like seen in the movies). if your a 20 something by far the best hotels for you are either the Venetian, The Mirage, the Hard Rock or The Cosmopolitan. Definetely not, Caesars. although Caesars has the forum shops if shopping is your thing. I did not like my stay at the Cosmopolitan, everything was extra, even access to the gym which was far from impressive. Some other hotels which are cool include to walk around, the Paris hotel (now has Jersey Boys - by far greatest show on the strip), Planet Hollywood, has 3 great restaurants, New York New York which is cool to walk around, and The Wynn - the most opulent hotel on the strip by far. My friends who have stayed at the New York New York, The Paris and The planet Hollywood all say that the rooms SxxK. since there really old and have not been upgraded yet.

So overall the Venetian is the best hotel on the strip for value, its fancy but yet is still the place for 20's-30's year olds, with Tao and Tao Beach

The Venetian is our favorite hotel on the Las Vegas strip. The suites are roomy, well appointed and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful (and very careful not to violate a "do not disturb" sign on a door).

There are many good restaurants in the resort, but our favorite was Thomas Keller's Bouchon. We particularly appreciated the chef's unique take on breakfast classics and homemade jams.

The downside? While you can get non-smoking suites, you still have to go through the smoky casino to get to your suite.
