After 5 days near the Las Vegas Strip - a quiet retreat to 4 miles out of town seemed ideal. BUT had to book a studio Suite - as no 1 bedroom available.
There was a lot of road noice from adjacent Tropicana Avenue.
As we like using the kitchen and doing our own breakfasts imagine our disappointment at the miniature kitchen in the studio units - far smaller than other locations with studios in Las Vegas.
Small refrigerator - no dishwasher, limited space to prepare anything and no washing machine in the unit.
We had phoned ahead - as my wife is not so mobile - yes we have elevators - good as we were on level 3. But with high baths with shower over and no access help whatsoever. The front desk could not help - so we had to go out to a store to buy a an access step to even use the shower. The resort has only one "accessible" unit - already in use.
Most resorts and hotels in Vegas charge a Resort Fee - Club de Soliel at least gives you a free paper - subject to availability, and free coffees, teas, bagel, jams and fruit for breakfast in the club lounge.
We had a hot March so A/C's struggled to keep up - and was very noisy in the room.

We live and learn and nextime stay in a resort we know

Hi, Mike. Thank you for your visit and feedback. We are disappointed our studio unit did not meet your expectations. Both our one- and two-bedroom suites come with full kitchens for your convenience, and select ADA units at our Club 2 location also come with kitchens. We hope you will book one should you give us another opportunity to make a more favorable impression. Thanks again for your feedback.

Before we headed for home after being on a one week road trip we thought it would be nice to spend some leisure time in Vegas. We looked around on the internet and discovered this all suite resort which was perfect. We were assigned our studio suite with a kitchenette which had crockery and utensils complete with coffee making facilities rmicrowave and a fridge. The management also provide a community club room on each floor all equipped with entertainment... and this was where one could have a healthy bite in the morning by grabbing a bagel banana or an orange with coffee but we did not have a need for this as there were so many eateries and restaurants nearby.

It had the resort feeling as one could pick up a cup of fresh orange flavored water in the lobby after coming out of the spa and big pool. Besides the pools there're several putting greens to test your skills.

The suite had a nice jacuzzi tub with ample set of luxury bath towels. A real nice and clean place with great staff. If we need a break from home in the near future we will definitely choose to stay here again!!!

Room tip: Rooms on the 3rd floor are real quiet and easy to access because of the elevator

We stayed her because this is where our soccer team blocked rooms for soccer tournament that our team was in. The address to check-in was not actually the property we stayed at. There are 2 locations the main on 5625 Tropicana and the one down the block at 5499 Tropicana. We checked in at 5625 Trop and they said our room was at 5499 Trop about 1/2 block down. People were courteous and nice at check in so we headed down there. We got to our room and were quite disappointed. They are doing renovations and remodeling the lobby & rooms. A fresh coat of paint & new carpet does not make a great remodel. You still need to get new furniture and update the bathrooms as well. Needless to say we had no choice as this was a busy weekend in LV and everywhere else was booked and the price gouging begins. Let's begin with the not so good: poor continental breakfast, extremely thin walls & windows, door in bathroom did not close as the latch was not aligned, daily resort fee, tub that was tilted (soap kept falling off edge), toilet that kept running intermittently thru the night (we did let the front desk know), did not enforce the quite time (10pm-7am) as my husband had to call down to let them know people were still in pool till 11pm, we unfortunately had a room facing the pool and had to be up early for an 830 game. I can't say I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely not worth what we had to pay. They need to do a better job for the amount they charged. The only good thing: kitchenette where we could do our own meals, complimentary coffee in lobby, free wi-fi, free parking.

Lets touch on the disappointments:

1. Room not cleaned, had to move rooms as unable to service it
2. Breakfast the worst pathetic offering of bananas and bagels in plastic - that was it
3. Noisy rooms (we had 2) as adjoining door so thin you could enjoy the pleasures of your next door folks
4. Daily charge for resort - a pool, BBQ and hot tub.
5. Slow check in, room not ready at 4
6. No milk available - we have run out
7. Limited TV channels - no movies etc.

I could go on ... yes its not a casino property and that is nice but boy you must be able to do better in Vegas than this offering

Room tip: Stay in another hotel

Hi, Denham. Thank you for your visit and feedback. We are disappointed we did not meet your expectations and apologize if we did not adequately convey our status as a timeshare resort.

As a result of this distinction, we do not follow the traditional daily housekeeping model of most hotels. Instead, we offer one complimentary midweek cleaning to visitors staying a full seven days. This is in deference to our vacation club owners, many of whom stay a week or more and do not want the intrusion of a daily cleaning visit. We are always happy to replenish any supplies you may need, and daily housekeeping is available for a fee.

Our Rise and Shine, a morning continental-style breakfast, is offered as a courtesy to owners and guests. As a timeshare resort, eschewing a Denny's-style breakfast is one of the ways we keep our ownership costs low.

Please accept our sincere apology for the noise intrusion.

Our resort fee not only covers the cost of aquatic attractions, but also our daily Strip shuttle, supermarket shuttle, Red Rock shuttle, downtown Las Vegas shuttle, activities, and cable and Wi-Fi package.

We do our best to get you into your guest suite as close as possible to the posted check-in time. We apologize for the delay.

With full kitchens among our desirable in-room amenities, many of our vacation club owners bring their own food and beverages.

We are sorry if our CATV package did not meet your requirements. It typically satisfies the needs of most of visitors.

Thanks again for visiting Club de Soleil. We value your feedback and wish we had made a more favorable impression.

I stayed at the Club de Soleil because it is near the Orleans where I was attending the WCC basketball tournament. I like to be able to prepare my own food - especially coffee when I'm away from home. I got a studio - it was fine for one person. Had a kitchenette - small fridge, microwave, sink a set of dishes and utensils for two, as well as cutting board, knives, can opener and some other utensils useful for food preparation. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the place was clean, well lighted, and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
