This was our second trip to Vegas, and as we took friends with us this time and as we needed more space but couldn't afford the strip prices for that we opted to stay somewhere a little off strip this time round.
I think the majority of negative complaints are a little unwarranted (and having worked in a timeshare resort I know how fussy some owners can be, particularly if exchanges are not considered a good "like for like"!), but we got a good price through Tripadvisor which did buffer the couple of negative points we had.
The resort was easy to find, having got a Lyft from the airport (at around $40 between four), and though it was a late checkin the receptionist was polite, and it was all quick and easy to do. We had a groundfloor apartment in building 2, with a veranda over looking the pool.
The décor is a little dated, but there was plenty of space between our one bedroom apartment plus a lock off apartment for four of us, with a large living area inbetween for congregating in. The apartment was very clean, with plenty of towels which were refreshed halfway through our week. Beds were huge, but did find them a bit uncomfortable sometimes... Never used the breakfast service myself, but our friends did and they said they staff were very nice, and bagels were tasty. The free shuttle service was handy,...This was our second trip to Vegas, and as we took friends with us this time and as we needed more space but couldn't afford the strip prices for that we opted to stay somewhere a little off strip this time round.

Never used the breakfast service myself, but our friends did and they said they staff were very nice, and bagels were tasty. The free shuttle service was handy, and if we stayed out past midnight we just used a Lyft to get back. One of the lady drivers could be a little off sometimes, but the gentleman who drove a few times during the week was very nice. Never used the day trip shuttles (Red Rock, Downtown), but it was nice to have that service in place. Checkout time is a little early at 10am but we were up and about anyway, and it was nice to be able to leave our luggage at reception as our flight home wasn't until 10 o'clock that evening.
The pool was quiet and often saw cleaners in the morning. Didn't use the mini golf or BBQ area, but again, was nice to have the option there.
The bad points, as quite a few reviews have already mentioned the walls and ceilings are paper thin, and you can hear everything going on in other apartments. This also meant that on the Friday evening we were kept awake late with one of the other apartments holding a party on their balcony. It is next to a busy road so if you are on the side closest to that (as we were), you will often have noisy traffic such as emergency vehicles passing by. The road can also be a little daunting to walk alongside due to the speed and amount of traffic, so maybe not the best with young children, and the area around the store (about a 20 minute walk away) is a little off the beaten track as it were... But there is a shuttle run to pick up groceries.
So overall there is plenty to offer at this resort, and even better if you can find a good deal. It doesn't have the same rush as the strip (which I'm sure a lot of people will prefer), but at the same time isn't far away and with the frequent shuttles back and forth (every hour) it's easy enough to get there at back.More
