TI is an average 3 star hotel. We had a room directly across from the ice machine on a low floor overlooking the freeway. The pool area is small and crowded. We had a hard time getting lounge chairs until late in the day (around 6pm), even though most were empty but reserved with towels the whole day. Difficult to get water at the pool as machines were empty and waits at the bar were long. The spa services were rushed and extremely overpriced. A mandatory 20% gratuity is ridiculous when you don't get the service described in the brochure. Restaurants were average but overpriced. We received a $9 bowl of guacamole at Isla Mexicana which might have been 1/3 cup and came with the chips and salsa. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We had problems in the bathroom with the sink draining very slowly and the toilet flushing slowly. Only had one washcloth in the room. We received an early morning call from housekeeping asking when they could clean the room - we had the Do Not Disturb sign up. We advised them we were leaving in 15 min and when we returned about 5 hours later, the room had still not been cleaned. What was the rush? The pop and water machines were broken and/or empty most of the weekend. Multiple requests to the hotel did not rectify the issue. We were in the VIP section for the Sirens show and hotel security let the public viewers crowd into our area so were were pressed up at the back and unable to see. No promotional materials in the room outlining services of the hotel, restaurants, room service etc. The internet and services guide on the TV did not work. Poor signage throughout the hotel - it was hard to find the restaurants and pool area. Security servivces were poor in the evening - security staff stood there but did not check room keys before letting people on the elevators. TI is trying hard to be hip. It is one of the only hotels with no "theme." People like themes in Vegas - bring some pirate stuff into the hotel to make it memorable. I would not return to TI unless I got an amazing deal on the rooms and there were no other options.

We stayed 4 nights at the Treasure Island. The hotel is at a very good location, on the strip. The view of the strip from the room was great (we had booked a Strip View room) and the room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was OK.
However, what gave a bad impression was the staff. Upon arrival, we greeted the lady at the front desk, and all she said was "ID" (not even "good afternoon") and took our passports. I asked for breakfast prices, and she told me it is 17 USD for the buffet. However, in front of the buffet room, the price quoted is 14 USD!
We do not eat much so we did not try the buffet. Instead we had breakfast at the Cafe, the continental breakfast was OK for us. But there too the staff is not friendly!
We asked whether we were entitled to free show tickets (it was on the hotel website valid for 3+ nights). The front desk lady said yes and sent us to the box office. The box office had to call the front desk to ensure we were entitled to the tickets, and then they told us we were not!! Next day we had booked a trip to Grand Canyon, and when we got back at 9.30pm we found a voice message, telling us we could pick up our tickets until 6pm!!!
The swimming pool is very crowded and there is no space between the sunbeds.
The casino is very noisy, you can constantly hear the tunes from the slot machines really loud. The atmosphere is not at all elegant, and again, no one of the staff is friendly. We went to other casinos as well, the Venetian and the Palazzo were much better, but the best is the Wynn. We also tried restaurants at both the Venetian and the Wynn and we were happy with the service, everybody was polite and professional.
Internet charge is 15USD daily and they attempted to double charge us, because we used 2 different laptops (i.e. the charge is not per room but per laptop??). We refused to pay and they agreed to remove it from our bill.
Overall, we would not stay again there. And as for the staff, prisoners would have looked happier.

To is a great hotel. This was our first trip to vegas and we wanted to stay at a hotel in the center of the strip. The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our plane was delayed due to mechanical problems and we didn't get to the hotel until after 11pm, so they offered us a free upgrade to a suite! The room was clean and had a great view. The pool was great and the hottub was perfect to relax in after a day of exploring the strip. It was a manageable size compared to the other casinos, not too big, not too small. I also highly recommend Mystere! Great show. The sirens show is also one of the most fun shows and it is free. We had a fantastic time and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked my 2 night stay direct with the hotel, for approx. US$60 per night plus taxes.

Check in... my gosh. This obviously wasn't an ordinary day but TI's computer (reservation?) system went down at around noon. I arrived to check in at 5pm and there were hundreds of people waiting to check in, snaked all the way out to the front entrance. Guests that had arrived earlier had been asked to come back in a couple of hours, so there were 5hrs of people waiting by the time I got there. It took 2hrs to get through the line and get checked in. I was arriving for a 7.30pm show at another casino, so my leisurely check in, shower and dine became a mad scramble to get there on time - which I just did with 3mins to spare!

Other than check in, my room was generally ok. Spacious and had a view over The Strips and Siren Cove. Some people have mentioned noise problems in these rooms but I was never ready to sleep before midnight so this did not bother me.

Towels were thin, and pillows had some stains on them - bathroom was also missing a couple of towels. Hallways had many room service items waiting to be collected, generally untidy. This level of service may have been due to the computer problem.

I didn't not spend time at the pool but it looked very average. Very few dining options (Isla looked good though), and nothing available for take-out after 11pm-ish. Nothing special by way of shopping.

Sirens of TI show was tragic - really poor acting/dancing, porn movie level. Check it out, but don't expect much.

For the price, I was happy with the general standard of my room, excluding some cleanliness issues. Excluding check in I was happy with my stay here.

Super trip, first time at the property...really convenient location, staff were friendly, rooms were great...atmosphere (especially the pool) was awesome. Outlets offer a little something for eveyone. Close proximity to other larger hotels on the central strip and of course the Fashion Show Mall is just next door.

We'd go back in a heartbeat...

Of note the pool is best on the weekend with the DJ...think of Spring Break - awesome!!!
