The Orleans is located off the Strip and is a self-contained gem. It's plenty big enough, but not an overwhelming complex like some of the giant hotels on the Strip. Numerous excellent restaurants, fantastic pool setup and Sunday through Thursday room rates that will have you wondering how they do it. I've attended two major conferences here and plan to take personal vacation as well. You'll want to rent a car to get around.

We stayed at the Orleans early March for the umpteenth time. This hotel never fails to provide an excellent guest experience. Our room was cozy, comfortable, clean, and we slept well. Some amenities we enjoyed: Big Al's Oyster Bar serves delicious food, the Java coffee shop offers free internet, the action is lively at the bars and gaming areas. Have always had friendly customer service at this hotel. It's great staying off-strip with a free shuttle available when you need to hit the strip. What I like best about the Orleans is its boisterous, friendly atmosphere!

Room tip: Ask for a room away from the elevators!

I called to try leave a request on my online booked room for Sept. It will be my 25th wedding anniversary and husbands' 60th birthday so i wanted to request an upgrade( which was not available on line at the time) the lady shortly informed me that there was no upgraded room available and there would not be on,she did not even offer to place my request on the reservation in case one came available. I hope my experience will be better than the phone
etiquette I received. This is our first choice of hotel because the Mr,Olympia contest will be held in the arena.

For 20 plus years we stayed at the Stardust and were sad when it came down but Boyd Gaming offered us other options. We chose The Orleans and have found a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people and a good choice of restaurants. We always take several days and also go up and down the strip, so many hotels and casinos now are large and noisy, The Orleans has a more relaxed atmosphere and we have found everyone to be friendly.

First time staying here and enjoyed the restaurants, kids tyme, rooms and service. I never felt like my kids didn't belong here unlike other places along the strip. The children enjoyed the kids tyme and the arcade. Our rooms were clean especially the bathroom but the carpet could use cleaning, there was several stains we noticed. Everything at the Orleans lived up to my expectation, wouldn't mind staying here again.
