If you are looking for a quiet yet convient place to stay in Vegas, then the Gold Coast is the place to stay.
We stayed here 2 nights in the upgraded room for about $40 a night. The room was nicely appointed and a good size. It was modern and very clean.
The hotel provides a shuttle to the strip, but since we had our car, we did not use it.
The pool area is small with a pool, hot tub, and a good amount of seating area with lounge chairs, tables, and chairs. It was more a family and or couples atmosphere compared to the strip hotels that we have visited. This was so nice! There were no loud, drunk spring breakers or misbehaved children. In March, we have found this at some of the strip hotels.
We did have a problem while staying at the GC, but when we talked with the manager, he handled it to our satisfaction and was super friendly and agreed with us on the complaint.
There are several dining options in the hotel/casino, and the casino is clean and neat.
We would definately stay at the GC on future visits.More
