Having been on the London Eye several times, I was very keen to go on the High Roller, I wasn't disappointed. 15 minutes in queue which was very efficient as well. As the pod was arriving for us to get on, I noticed it was one with a bar for the Happy Half Hour, but there was no one waiting on this so they therefore stopped the wheel to quickly clear everything out and give it a quick sweep before loading us on and starting the wheel again. There was still some rubbish on the floor that had been missed in the sweep and floor was a bit sticky from spilled drinks but it didn't take away from the experience at all. 30 minutes ride time in total and what a view you get. If you're lucky you will even spot the Bellagio Fountains going when you're at the top.
Photos taken before boarding the wheel were then displayed at the end which they try to sell to you. My dad had chosen this particular day to wear a green shirt, which made for some interesting pictures...his entire torso disappeared when the displayed our pictures, they however didn't see an issue with this when we questioned it and proceeded to try and sell them to us! Wasn't ideal as the pictures taken at these attractions make great memories but it certainly made for some interesting picture results!
