“nice place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2012

we stayed in tower 1, The room was really nice with a jacuzzi tub, The walk to MGM was just a couple minutes. The property was really nice as for the pool it was small but relaxing as there were'nt many people there, you could also use the MGM pool with a lazy river for more of a fun time as it is really busy. Overall a good place to stay there is a resort fee so it can be on the pricey side.

This was our 1st visit to Las Vegas. The Signature at MGM Grand was a very welcoming Hotel with the best Rooms I've seen on my travels in quite a while. The Hotel is gated & to enter you must be a guest so I liked this measure they have in place. Check in staff were pleasant but I wouldn't say overly helpful. I had a few questions which the girl assisting me couldn't answer. We were located in Tower 3 on the 11th floor & had an ok view. The room size is great with a king bed & Foldout couch bed for the kids. The bathroom is amazing with great sized shower & spa bath & separate toilet with a door which is perfect. We spent 3 nights at the Signature & were happy with the location . We got out each day & walked the strip, marvelling at all the oversized Hotels & enjoying all there was to see. We took a trip to the Outdor Shopping outlets & had a fab day there. As we travelled with kids, staying at a Hotel without it's own Casino was not an issue. We found the walk out through the MGM Grand quite a long one to get outside! Our kids loved walking through the gaming area's. There are plenty of places to eat & lots of things to do in Vegas. I would highly recommend the Signature At MGM Grand to anyone looking for amazing accommodation.

A few small things to be aware of first tho :
- The Signature Towers are approx 15min walk from the main MGM hotel reception/casino.
- There is no self park at The Signature only valet. If you want to self park its about a 20min walk from The Signature towers.
- If you have a balcony there are no furniture on them so it makes them a bit useless. You have to carry chairs from your room and use them.
- When the hotel is busy the internet service becomes very unreliable.
- The $25 a day resort fee is a little steep and can be costly if staying for a week or more.

Apart from that the rooms are lovely, the pool area is fabulous, well equipped gym and the staff are amazing.

I have to say a massive thank you to the cleaning staff (and all staff in general) who kept the rooms and the resort impeccably clean and tidy at all times.

Room Tip: Try and get a strip side room, the pool side rooms can be very noisy !

My only rant is that our room was located in Tower 1 and we were on the mountain/airport side of the building (not the Strip side). The rooms are very close to the Wet Republic and you can plan on the music pounding your windows from 9 am to 7 pm. Take earplugs if you are planning for a late start to the day of an afternoon nap. We asked to be moved to the other side of the building (Strip side) but was told because we took advantage of their 4th night free promotion our reservation had a "do not move" order. Of course, when you book the rooms they sure don't tell you that. I would have paid the 4th night if given the option of getting a different room. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

Other than that our stay was wonderful. The hotel staff was exceptional. The room was well appointed and as advertised. Housekeeping (Joan) did a marvelous job and left extra towels that we requested. We had a rental car and the free valet parking made our comings and goings very easy.

We took advantage of a half-off Cabana at the Tower 1 pool and enjoyed that very much. I'm not sure I would have paid the full price ($250). We also did the main pool area one day with the lazy river and really enjoyed all that it had to offer. Be prepared, the drinks and food were a bit pricey.

I did not think that the walk to the MGM was bad at all. I have a bit of trouble walking long distances but the moving sidewalks made it a short 5-10 minute trip (a bit further from Tower 2 or 3).

We would definitely stay again if we can be assured that our room was on the Strip side of the towers.

Room Tip: Be sure to get a room on the Strip side of the towers if you want to avoid the noise of Wet Republic...

My husband and I, travelling with our two teenagers (16 & 19) recently stayed in Tower 2 on the 34th floor. The two suites were ideal - everyone had their own space (and bathroom!). We all loved the fact that it was non-smoking, very very quiet, and very spacious. Though our suite overlooked some construction across the street, I didn't hear anything each morning when we awoke. The balcony doors really seemed to cut the street and construction noise quite significantly. The rooms were very clean, well maintained, well appointed, and very comfortable. My only "complaint" was the feather pillows which are often provided in hotels. They squish down so much that we all had to either double up pillows or fold them over to get proper support. But, very minor in the scheme of things. It would have been nice to have a non-feather pillow option. Starbucks was only a 5 minute walk from our room - very conveniently located. Having the use of the MGM Grand pools and lazy river was an added bonus. We loved our trip over there, but it was quite a raucous time with a totally different atmosphere (the young party crowd). It was peaceful relief to come back and enjoy our pools that were always clean and uncrowded. The staff in Tower 2 were very professional, helpful, and easy to deal with. They helped to make our stay very enjoyable. I would very much recommend this hotel for those not into the party scene (though of course there's lot of nightlife always close by) and those that prefer non-smoking hotels. I will only stay at the Signature when I return to Vegas. It has been a perfectly excellent stay.
