I wouldn't have gone back if not required to be there on business. It's a little better than the last time, but not much. If you want OK, then try this place, but why? When in Vegas you got so much better to chose from?
On the good side breakfast was very good and finally had a waitress with a smile and good service. The view and proximaty of the mountains is memorable. But other than that not much of a place to stay.
Forget the gambling the dealers are rude, grumpy, and certainly don't want to be there. And there is no place else to go close.
Other than breakfast, dinners and lunch don't measure up to Vegas standards.
Forget checking in on time - our room wasn't ready at 2:00 - I think they are understaffed - forget quality service from the front desk or the management - I think they are beat up all the time.
Over all its OK - But there are so many better choices in Vegas.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the mountains. If you want the action of Vegas downtown and the strip this place is a long ways away.

This was my first trip to Las Vegas. It was a business trip but the conference was packed with free time and fun. This Hotel is large and about 25 minutes by the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel both from and to the airport and to the Strip. The bus leaves about every hour or so but it returns before 11p.m. from the STRIP for its last run....so that was not so good. The hotel is beautiful, very helpful, friendly attentive staff, especally the bell staff and the registration staff. You need a card to get on the elevator so safety is excellent. Gorgeous hotel, huge, classy, very modern the rooms. It's are spacious, clean and the bathroom has marble floors and TV, over the tub, separate shower stall, double sinks and leather type walls except in the show stall. Only issue was that the edges of the bed are sharp so you have to be careful, not to get your foot scratched as I did...could be a problem if you are a diabetic. Huge buffet with the expected sub standard food in the casino area. Lots of eating places at all levels and prices, There are two Starbucks. The hotel is located across the street from 2 fantastic shopping centers. It is near anything you might possbily need. This is a safe upscale area. The hotel gets its name from the RED ROCK park and the rocks are really red. Would I stay here again. Yes, if I went back to Vegas and had done the strip bit, this is a really lovely property to enjoy and relax. Our room had an awesome view of the strip at night. I am allergic to feathers and they changed everything, and I mean everything and did it with dispatch. Don't hesitate to go here. Every room is off of the main hall, so each room is entered from your own private foyer with only one other room across from you. This was my experience. If there was a negative, I thought the tile on shower floor could have looked more pristine, but it was not dirty just seemed a bit dull. This is a very, very clean facility. I was in a non smoking room , non animal room. Actually, I do not remember the policy on animals, but did not see any. A very good property.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Strip

We've been to Vegas many times, and from now on this is where we'll return. Red Rock has everything you could want, without the smut and noise of the strip. Great for middle-agers like us, or families. The restaurants were fabulous. I highly recommend T-Bones for their ribeye .

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the elevator. It's a long walk down that hallway.

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is the ideal getaway for anyone who wants a quick trip to a quiet and relaxing location. The property is filled with quality places to eat to fit any budget. The spa and fitness room are fully equipped with anything you might need from towels to bottled water, bathrobes, toiletries, private lockers, etc. The pool area is designed to be family friendly (although the wait staff wear skimpy bikinis on hot days) with other areas for those who don't want to have kids running around. There are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and shade umbrellas can be set up by the staff at your request. I really have nothing negative to say about this place. The staff were exceptional as well as the location and facility. I do have two recommendations. 1) If you want to avoid 2nd hand smoke, don't walk through the casino areas, but around them. 2) Take the complimentary shuttle to the Vegas Strip if possible. Otherwise, you will easily pay $50-$65 for a taxi.

Room Tip: I chose a pool side room because it has a better view. It wasn't overly noisy, but could be on weekends when concerts are scheduled as the amphitheater is also on that side. If that was the case, I'd choose a room on the other side of the resort.
