We did not know what to expect as we had booked on-line before our trip. Trip went without any problems. Our particular trip included, pick up at hotel by shuttle, dropped at another hotel to get the bus, free water and a snack then us being dropped off in Williams, stayed overnight (they were expecting us) all meals included, travelled by the train to Grand Canynon - complete with a cowboy shoot-out before boarding. Saw elk on train trip - awesome! Got off the train, we were advised which direction to go to get on a bus for the one and half hour south rim tour. This went smooth as well. Back to the drop off for lunch (not included) and back on a bus for return trip to Vegas. Bus trip was a bit long but there was a stop along the way. Overall a great tour, would recommend it highly if you don't wish to drive by car. Also recommend you take more snacks & water.

This is the perfect day trip if you are in Vegas for a few days. I had never been to the Grand Canyon, and didn't know when I would get there again, and am so glad I went on this trip. Seeing the Grand Canyon was worth it!

It's a LONG bus ride. I think about a 4 or 5 hour drive. Our driver and tour guide was a little grumpy. He kept telling us what he was not going to show us, despite what was told to us by the sales people. But, he did give a good overview of the history of the area, the history and formulation of the Grand Canyon, and the towns on our way up there.

We stopped at several places along the way there and back. It was clear that the company had a relationship with the shop owners and we were stopping to help generate revenue. Thank goodness though, we all needed refills on water and snacks for the bus.

There was one stop at a "Native American Crafts Market". I was very skeptical about it and didn't buy anything.

We did not stop at the Hoover Dam. The driver slowed down so we could take pictures through the bus, but we did not stop. It was beautiful on the way back, though. The lights-amazing.

Despite the LONG drive, the okay food, the grumpy driver, seeing the Grand Canyon in person was well worth it. I can't wait to spend more time there one day!

If somewhat a long day. Picked up on time, payment procedure quick and easy. Breakfast snack and sit down buffet lunch included and our driver Tommy was excellent, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Last time went by plane but spent most of our time waiting in the small airport due to delays, got hardly any time at the canyon and a boxed lunch. This time with my sisters, decided to do the bus thing for a lot less money and a lot more time at the canyon. Would recommend.

This review is for the West Rim Bus Tour, was deciding between the West and South Rim and chose the West Rim for the shorter bus ride (getting back to the strip around 6pm), longer duration at the West Rim (about 4 hours), and to see the spectacular direct drops that the West Rim had to offer. I agree, it is more touristy and expensive than South Rim, but it was worth it to get back to Vegas earlier. As for the tour, it included the shuttle from your hotel, snack and drink, and shuttle bus and meal vouchers for usage at the site. Tour bus driver was also the guide, her name was Kathy and I found she went above and beyond stopping the bus so we could get a good look at Big Horn Sheep and at the Lake Meade Lookout point. She shared stories which is nice and gave some good advice on where to spend those meal vouchers when we arrived. She gave us exactly the info we needed to know and made sure that everyone understood the meeting place and time.. by quizzing everyone on that before handing over the shuttle bus tickets! I thought it was responsible of her to do that, I can imagine she had a lot of past experience with ppl not listening to her not matter how many times she repeated that info and it benefits everyone at the end. Basically she dropped us off at the area where all the tour buses drop off, from there you do have to take the shuttles on your own to the 3 different sites. I was concerned about that at first, but the rides are short, and lines are not too bad, plus with 4 hours there you have PLENTY of time. I think you can really see the whole place in 2 1/2 hours so don't worry about spending time with shuttles. Finally Kathy's recommendation to eat at the ranch was right, choice of a 1/4 chicken leg or 4 large pork ribs, with your choice of 2 sides, cornbread, cookie, and unlimited fountain drink. The Eagle point only had rice and some kind of curry/stew, and the Guano point had some chicken or pulled pork. Take your time at the sites and just relax and have your lunch at the ranch. Ride home unfortunately a freak accident on the road prevented us from going to the Hoover Dam lookout or crossing the Hoover Dam. We did see it while driving from the bus and Kathy slowed down for us. For the price, considering we got a nice hot meal, ride, and plenty of time to see what we had to see I would recommend this tour.
