Too crowded, too many small children, slots were tight. Casinos were very slow to offer drinks. We only stayed there to go to hockey game. Pefer to stay downtown.

I have been coming to Las Vegas for 20+ years now and during my last visit I was disappointed to smell, (literally get intoxicated!) by all the cannabis. Yes, I get that it is legal in the State of Nevada, but come on! Casinos need to do something. Any time of the day I went outside, I got to smell. Not sure if we will be back! They better install designated areas!

What can you say about the Vegas Strip? People watching alone is worth the trip! Beware the costumed characters wandering about... they work for tips but do not let you know until after having your picture taken with them. There is free parking (at least for now) at the Venetian, which is near the middle of the strip, so if you have a car you can park central to all of the action. Wander in and out of stores and attractions, and be prepared to spend a premium on pretty much everything, but it is a blast!

The strip is huge depending on where you are going and the time and month of your visit. During the hot months, no one goes walking outside so if the heat doesn't both you, bring water and a hat. Also, at night it can get really crowding on the strip because everyone is out. I usally go between Feb/March or Oct/Nov to avoid the heat and the crowds. Other than that, it's fun to walk and see all the attractions outside of the casinos first and then you can venture inside and see more.

I love to walk around vegas at night there is always something happening on the street. The cross walks do suck sometimes because we just cant cross the street sometimes you have to walk past 2 resorts just to cross the street and then walk back to the resort you want to go to. I wouldn't say its kid friendly due to seeing people passing out prostitution cards or escort cards whatever you want to call it. But other than that the Strip is AWESOME!!!!
