Hubby and I stayed here for a few days back in march! - tried the $20 sandwich at the front desk and was upgraded to a suite! casino was a little smokey at times, but nothing a quick trip outside didn't cure. Room was a little outdated but otherwise clean. Bed however was rock hard and needed to be replaced BADLY! all in all a great hotel for the price!

I stayed for four nights for a conference. Paid extra to get upgraded to North Tower. Rooms are big and clean. Coffee and accompaniments are cheap that you would find in any cheap motel. I mean the artificial sweetener is saccharine. There were no tea bags and when we called the housekeeping for some, they said it will cost you extra for tea. Other bath amenities are also lower grade.
Yes you have to stand in line for everything. If your key does not work, you have to go back to front desk and stand in line for your turn. Very annoying!

Room Tip: Higher than 16 floors are better.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Ideally located on the Strip, easy walking distance for hotels such as Bellagio, Flamingo, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Caeser's Palace. Room was large with two bigs beds and clean. No tea/coffee facilities.

Room Tip: We had a room which faced onto the side of the strip

The location is excellent located on the strip across from Caesar's and Billagio. The room was rather spacious and comfortable.
The restaurant is average at best however the staff are very friendly and efficient.
Bally's is connected directly to Paris where the restaurant selection and food is very good to excellent.

Room Tip: The north tower is further from the strip but the rooms are worth the extra 5-10 dollars, they are r...

North tower is a must. Rooms are large but you pay for every little extra. No resort fee but therefore high charge for internet. No tea/coffee in room. Blocked sink but at least cleared for us. Not too impressed. Was 117 degrees and NO UMBRELLAS at pool side! Think they just want you inside to gamble. Staff not friendly and get the impression you are just another punter. Also, they have taken out the extractor fans from the bathrooms!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
True classics never go out of style, making Bally's Las Vegas the only choice for classic Vegas at the heart of the Las Vegas strip. And what could be more timeless than Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton? In his original production, "Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal," Newton sings crowd favorites as well as engages with the audience by answering questions, making for a truly extraordinary experience. Before the show, dining options at Bally's Las Vegas include BLT Steak, an interpretation of an American steakhouse with traditional fare and a bistro ambiance. BLT Steak is also the stage for the Sterling Brunch offered every Sunday where diners can enjoy the endless pours of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and unlimited American Sturgeon Caviar - the two pinnacles of the Las Vegas Strip's most famously indulgent brunch. If you're looking for a menu that's a little less traditional, SEA: The Thai Experience at Bally's Las Vegas offers delicious cuisine from southeast Asia. Buca di Beppo serves up classic Italian cuisine family-style, perfect for sharing and passing around the table. At Tequila Taqueria you'll experience the soul of Mexico while enjoying delightfully authentic Mexican dishes. ... more   less
