My husband and I stayed only one night as we got in a day earlier then planned and our other reservations could not accommodate the earlier arrival. We thought "hey it's one night, how bad can it be?" WRONG! We had reserved a king bed through hotels.com, but when we arrived, they had given our room away and only had 2queens available. The night clerk's response was, "well its the same price." huh? We are a married couple, what do I need 2 beds for? Ok, so customer service, not a strong point, noted.

The room. Clearly we did not get an "updated" room. Old, lots of wear. No, problem, pulled the bed spread off, no critters anywhere and the sheets were clean. Great, we just needed a place to lay down for the night and sleep. Wrong again! The bed was the worst I've slept in ever (and I've done my fair share of camping). Uncomfortable and a HUGE sag in the middle so I spent the whole night rolling into my husband or fighting my way out of the dip (made worse by the fact it was a queen and there's just no where to go). To top it off there was PLASTIC on the mattress. Ok, I don't know if this was bed bug preventative or for "soilage", but either way, it does NOT elicit a good night's sleep. If you are going to spend your whole night tossing and turning, you should not, at least, have to listen to your bed crinkle each time you move.

Lastly, it only seems close to everything on the first night I'm guessing. Given that you walk miles and miles all day in LV anyway I could not fathom making that walk back to the hotel after a long day (or night) on your feet. Remember, everything looks closer in LV, especially on maps. These aren't your average city blocks.

Very small room. No lock on bathroom door (basically like a closet). Newly remodeled room which looked nice at first, but it feels very cramped. The problem with not being carpeted is that dirt is easily tracked in and our feet were black from walking on the floor. WI-FI costs $2.99/night and was unreliable. It did not work most of the time and when it did, it was very slow. If I was traveling alone or not planning to spend any time in the motel, it may have been more tolerable. I would not recommend this motel for anyone traveling with kids.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel.

Do not stay in the West Wing. Pay the extra for a renovated room. No access or exit for your car or dog. No area with grass to walk the dog. You have to walk all the way to the front, turn right and walk out, and then walk back to right across the street where you can not get because of a fence to walk the dog in a nice grassy area. Forget Hooter next door. Go to BJs across the corner and have a super grill affair and nice waitresses.
This Motel 6 needs to upgrade the West wing........ still, ask for the senior citizen rate and you will stay for about 434 total.

Not far from the strip but still not in the centre either. We were very happy with everything but prefer to stay on the strip
