My cousin had an out of town wedding that required overnight travel for most guests. The hotel roomrate he secured for his guests was at the Hyatt in Incline village, but unfortunately with a 2 night minimum, it became unaffordable for the 3 couples traveling. I found this rental on tripadvisor, and knew that it would at least suit our room needs. All of the bedrooms are on the entry floor, with the master (with king bed) being separated from the other 2. This was perfect for my sister and her husband since they had a new baby. Any noise they made did not disturb the other two rooms. The second room had a queen bed that fit my parents nicely. The third room, my fiancé and I took, but unfortunately it only had a double bed. This room would benefit with a queen upgrade, just for a bit more comfort.
The kitchen came stocked with most things we would need, which was nice for a 2 night stay. The living room/dining room had plenty of seating for us. The couch was not the most comfortable, but was adequate. Had we been staying longer, the couch would have become annoying because the cushions sink down into the frame and flatten out a bit. The air-conditioning does not work, so luckily it was still cool enough for the evening breeze to keep the rooms at a comfortable temperature.
Overall the rental was perfect for a quick stay, where not spending a lot of money was the goal. We were comfortable enough and would probably stay here again for a quick trip. If you are looking for a more luxurious type of rental, this would not be the place for you. It is very basic, but for our purposes basic worked!
