This villa is awesome, our family group had an excellent stay here for our week in Greece.
The villa overlooks the bay of Theologos, with superb views of the sea and the town.
At night the sky's were so clear, numerous shooting stars were seen. The owners greeted us on arrival, to give us a guided tour of the villa and grounds. Before showing us where local restaurants/grocers/butchers/bakers......cake shops are.
The villa felt like a second home, hosting all modern conveniences, split over 3 levels, there was enough space for the 11 of us not to feel crowded.
The x2 kitchens were fully equipped to cater for large group.
We had breakfastson the balcony with the sun coming up over the town, and evening bbq's on the terrace.
The pool kept the children entertained well in to the afternoon, until the sun became to hot. The deck area is large with numerous loungers to help you top up your tan.
A steep set of stairs takes you down to sea level, to a secluded platform, sea shoes are recommended. From here we took the kids snorkelling (brought our own), lots of little fish and urchins to be seen.
The town is a 20 mins walk, where we were able to immerse ourselves in local Greek culture, with numerous, coffee bars and restaurants to keep us out of the heat of the day. Recommended to pickup bottled water, per trip, to keep hydrated.
We're sad to leave, our villa and Theologos. And would recommend staying here for those who want to experience a relaxing, restful, culture trip to Greece.
When we pulled up to the villa we were amazed at the size and views of the villa, which the photos on the website don't do justice to. A huge villa which suited our large group of 14 (7 children and 7 adults). The pool was fantastic, plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Several outdoor eating areas which were shaded and comfortable, and an outdoor BBQ which we used several times. The views over the sea are amazing and on our first day we saw a pod of dolphins in front of the villa. We also saw a tortoise, fox and praying mantis on the property - very exciting for us all - especially the tortoise, which appeared numerous times.
The sunsets (and sunrises when up for them!) were amazing, and a fantastic way to end the day.
The villa itself was exceedingly clean and well stocked with crockery and utensils, and a much appreciated welcome package of basics for when we first got there (milk would have been a bonus addition). Pool man attended every morning.
Nikolas and Maria were very welcoming and showed us around the villa, with Nikolas taking a couple of us around the area pointing out places of interest, shops, restaurants etc.
The small beach area into the sea at bottom of the steps was fun to jump in and splash around, sometimes depending on sea a bit tricky for younger ones to get out. One day my daughter and husband swam back from the beach in Theologos to our villa, took about 20-30 mins.
10 minute walk along coast line to town with shops, bars and restaurants. People very helpful and most restaurants had an English translation of menu, if not they were very helpful in getting people to help and assist in translating things. The supermarket and bakeries had everything you need, but there is a Carrefour in the neighbouring town Malesina, or if needed Lidl approx. 30-40 mins away for a big shop.
We ate at restaurants a few times and the meat restaurant opposite the villa is very nice with a very friendly host, but limited for our vegetarian daughter, who fortunately loved the Greek salad and spinach and feta pie. There is also a pizzeria/pasta restaurant in Theologos for loading up on carbs if needed!! It was also a novelty to be somewhere where there are no English pubs/bars, and to actually be in an area used by the Greeks and we didn't encounter any other English people whilst there.
We visited Delphi, which is approx. 1hr 20 mins away and Athens - 1.30-2 hrs away, which we loved. We drove to Ethiniki Amyna metro stop and got metro into Athens, which was simple to use and very clean. Acropolis is amazing and we did it late afternoon so not too hot or too busy, and Greco Project restaurant where we ate at square of Acropolis very good.
We visited the Thermal springs, which are on the road to Lamia which were very hot, but also very smelly - but good fun.
An extra key would have been useful, which we mentioned to Nikolas. The only negative would be the elephant foot plant pot holder, which I really hope is acrylic/fake, but felt uncomfortable with anyway.
Otherwise a fantastically relaxing holiday and would definitely go again.

A nice property with gorgeous view. Very well equipped kitchens. We had all we needed (ice bags, frigorific bag). The villa is split on two levels and an attic. A lot of stairs to the sea (good for sport), were are another steps to enter in the water...but it is not ok for the persons who can't swim.
What I didn't like was that in the description of the villa there are 8 bedrooms with bathroom and the reality is that just 5 of the bedrooms have bathroom and the other 3 bedroomas are like an appartment, with a hall and just one bathroom. So this was a problem for us, because we made other plans about how we'll ocuppy the rooms...and surprise :-).
Nice village, with supermarket and all you need if you want to buy and cook at the villa.
