We spent our 24th anniversary at Blue Sky in December. It was so serene. The property is beautiful and the gentle snow that fell the whole time was perfect. We didn't get much time out and about but just spending time playing games and watching movies together was great. The hot tub at the Forget Me Not cabin was perfect. The cabin was comfy and relaxing. The owners were always there with exactly what you needed, including great photography and advice. We enjoyed every minute. Would go again in a heartbeat.

We called with a last minute reservation as we were on a short road trip from our cabin in Wilson, Wy. Tammy was very helpful and Kevin greeted us upon arrival. They have put a lot of thought and energy into making these cabins and grounds really special. Their amazing wildlife photography adorns the walls and their design sense is excellent. Very peaceful, full kitchen/BBQ for making great meals, lots of wildlife on the property and nearby. Giant whirlpool tub, steam bath/shower and very comfortable bed (that you need to be careful not to get lost in!). Quite an oasis in the middle of beautiful ranch land and nearby mountains. Highly recommend for a romantic, peaceful getaway.

Room Tip: All cabins are great and have good separation.

Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Only been here a few hours and we are planning a return trip. We are in the Spirit cabin, it has an amazing shower and an awesome hot tub in the living room. Also heated floors (hoping we don't need those in July)

My husband and I spent 10 days at the Serenity house for our honeymoon and it was pure bliss. Tammy met us at the house upon arrival and gave us a little tour of the property, which was perfect! The house was well stocked with everything you could imagine, from movies to robes to a fully stocked kitchen! The Serenity house was located about 15 minutes off of the main road in Red Lodge, so we had total privacy and everything was so peaceful. We spent every morning on the front porch enjoying breakfast and all that nature had to offer. Red Lodge itself is a very quaint town, excellent restaurants and great little shops. The Serenity house was perfection and really allowed us to have a truly exceptional honeymoon. We can't thank Tammy and Kevin enough for providing such a beautiful home for our honeymoon and we look forward to coming back for our anniversaries!

Montana's Big Sky Country and Blue Sky Cabins were not on our bucket list like Bhutan,French Polynesia and a ryokan in Japan. In fact I had never heard of Red Lodge, much less this small cluster of luxury cottages 19 miles in the countryside outside of town, but when my goddaughter told us of her stay here last summer, we decided to make it a part of a road trip through the American Rockies, hopefully a tranquil break between high season stays in the Grand Tetons and Glacier National Park.
We could not have made a better choice. To see far and wide across the horizon as well as looking up to snow-capped peaks is very special; the expanse feels infinite, but not intimidating, somehow bringing with it a feeling of awe and tranquillity and peace. Blue Sky Cabins are the fruition of the dreams of the proprietors, Kevin and Tammy, who built the 5 cabins here with skill and love. Touches of luxury throughout, detail after detail of thoughtfulness and craftsmanship, and windows everywhere -- to the hills and meadows, the aspen trees, a pond, 12,000 foot mountain peaks. There are giant jack rabbits straight out of Alice in Wonderland and reddish deer and robbins and, hidden in the aspens, wolves and bears and moose. Each cabin is different: we stayed in Forget-Me-Not, saw also Sylvan and Hold-Your-Horses, each with its own ambience, all exquisite in their own way.
We have stayed in elegant 5 star luxury hotels that we love (I'm a serious hotel freak), but only two other places in our travels have had the magic of being built with love and fine woods and somehow creating a feeling of peace, nature, architecture and comfort coming together in a kind of counterpoint that makes me think of music.
Come and see--and if you can, stay 3 or 4 nights!

Thank you so much for your wonderful, detailed review! Such a lovely description that captures the ambiance we were hoping to create here at 'Blue Sky'. And 'Yes" music does play an important part. ;) Thank you for seeing the attention to details & appreciating the hard work that went into them. We are also very thankful for your goddaughters referral to us. Referrals are very special to us, since that means that they not only enjoyed "their" stay with us but are confident that their friend or family member will too!
In all your worldly travels, we hope that someday you will make it back to our little world of nature, wildlife & the mountains.
Tammy & Kevin
