The Goldsmith B&B is located right next to the river and it has an adorable porch that you can use. The staff were helpful. It did feel a little more "business" like than some other B&Bs. This is what gives it a 4/5 for us because we like to feel super comfortable at a B&B. There isn't really an area for guests to hang out so everyone is in their rooms, and the breakfast is served more formally than some other B&Bs so you get what is served to you. It was a nice breakfast, but it definitely felt more formal. Jordan was helpful to answer all of our questions and his number is posted all around the B&B (though I'm not sure we would have used it unless we really had to). It was beautiful decorated and the rooms are spacious. They also provide a nice book with information about the area. I certainly would pick this again over a hotel.

We do our best to provide a great place to stay, in a great location at a great value with excellent service for all our guest (from people staying at a B&B for their first time, or the seasoned B&B veteran). We hope that these items when brought together in our historic house provide a memorable trip for our guest. As a small, local, family business we do take all feedback and reviews into consideration and appreciate that our guest take the time to provide it, so thank you for your review.

We serve a different breakfast each day, and also offer granola, toast, oatmeal and yogurt. Our guests seat themselves in our dining room, help themselves to coffee and other items as we plate and serve breakfast. This is where we engage in conversation about the days activities, travels, restaurants to eat at, and offer tips on enjoyable places to go things to do. Thank you again for staying with us and for your review!

A wonderful stay. We couldn't have asked for me. The Goldsmiths are lovely and thoughtful people. Our room (Greenough #7) overlooked the river. It was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The location was picturesque and close to the college and the grocery store. We couldn't have asked for more. The breakfasts were well done and the coffee especially good. We will be back for sure.

I stayed in the Greenough Suite (room #7) which was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed as promised. Great views of the river and a little private deck of my own. Every meal was delicious with generous offers to create something custom to eat (which I didn't need). I enjoyed meeting the owners and staff, who are well connected to, and knowledgeable about, their local community. Cool to hear the wild history of this beautiful building. Highly recommended. LOCATION IS INCREDIBLE. I walked everywhere in Missoula from here.

The Greenough Suite (No. 7) has a great balcony overlooking the river and a sitting room-like space connected to the main bedroom. We would come home from a day of being out and about and enjoy reading on the balcony and watching the world go by, a little bit of work at the desk in the sitting room, some feet-up time in one of the comfy chairs.

Jordan and team were very easygoing and ready to accommodate requests, whether for variations in breakfast menu or a place to leave bags after checking out. Jordan served a great breakfast and always took a moment to ask about the day ahead, offer ideas about things to see and do and know about Missoula.

The house is clean, the rooms are clean and comfortable. In warmer weather, the great old porch has to be a favorite place. The house is situated right on a network of walking paths or bike paths: you can walk downtown in 5-10 minutes. Campus is just across the river.
