“An Okay Place to Stay”

While our room was clean, it was small and the hotel is starting to show its age. The carpeting in our room had numerous stains and the room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. The location, however, is good as it is near a couple of restaurants and the main highway to Glacier National Park.

We had a very nice stay at the Super 8 in Kalispell. It is within walking distance of many nice eating spots. Our room was very clean - it was the first motel out of four during our trip that had a hairdryer in the room, as well as a coffeepot, refrigerator, microwave. The staff was friendly, nice sized room, comfortable bed, quiet. The breakfast was adequate. We would be happy to stay here again.

We stayed at the Motel 8 with eight other people from July 2 to July 6th. Myself and another couple rode our Motercycles down from Edmonton., the rest in cars. After a long ride the check in was fast and very accomidating. We were told to leave the bikes by the front desk so staff could keep an eye on them. Thes staff really catered to the bikers with dry down towels and security. We asked some questions at the desk for the 4th of July parties and were given several options. The location of the hotel is great right beside a great spot to eat, (Montana Club) and a service station where everything was sold from beer to snacks. Eating is great in Kalispell, Steak at Scotties bar, Mooses saloon for pizza, Nickle Charlies for a huge breakfast. All spots welcomed children as we had a 3 and 1yr old in our party. The Flathead Valley to ride your bike is wonderful did 2 long rides. Flathead lake to Polson and back to whitefish was great. And after the ride a great lunch at the Bull Dog Saloon is a must. Hungery Horse area as well nice. The ride home over the Highway to the Sun road was breath taking a unreal ride on a bike or in a car. I recommend the Hotel to anyone very clean and great staff , the breakfast area can get busy in the Morning but we had lots of time. We had a wonderful 4th of July experiance with all the Parades and fireworks at the Candy Bar Ranch, a private event but parked in the farmers feild. A great holiday and hotel experiance and will do it again next year.

Our stay at the Super 8 was a good one! The room of my parents had a bad smokey smell, but got another room immediately. The staff was professional and friendly. Rooms were kinda outdated, but they were very clean which is the most important thing at all... Breakfast was fine! Would stay again (for just 1 night).

In recent years, it seems that the standard of options available to the budget conscious traveller has declined. Low price seems to mean low standards: not at the Super 8 in Kalispell. This hotel is just what you need, a clean, safe room from which to explore and return for relaxation. What is more, the staff (owners?) could not be more helpful. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but a cup of tea or coffee, yoghurt, cereal and toast are all you need to get going. thanks for a nice stay.
