We had a very nice and enjoyable stay at this hotel, and will definitely stay again! The staff was great, and the hotel was quiet, well-maintained, and had a great location that met our needs well! After staying at other hotels in the past, booked by well-meaning relatives, we decided to do our own booking and chose this property since our previous personal experience with Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn hotels has been nothing but excellent!

This is a first class hotel, something that doesn’t really exist in Kalispell. It’s extremely comfortable, Blue Canyon Restaurant attached, wonderful staff. Proximity to town is a short coming but it rates up there with The Lodge in Whitefish for comfort and food.

Our stay at the Hilton Garden was "excellent!" Very well priced with ALL the amenities one would need. Great staff as well!! - very freindly, cheerful & helpful at all times.We will be back! The breakfast was excellent and for $10 all you could want to have . Thak you to all the staff!

The service at this hotel is the best service I have seen at a hotel. I travel quite a bit and get better service here than at five star hotels. The staff are very friendly. At several hotels, the staff act as if the most simple request is putting them out of their way to do something for me. At this hotel, that is not the case. They frequently ask if they can do anything for me and seem happy to help with anything.

My daughter and I am came here to rest before a very early flight. The rooms were clean and the hotel is a very modern and clean facility.
The complaints came from what seemed to be not enough staff and poor costumer service as well as rowdy crowds. We are not picky and just need a clean place to rest our heads.
The problems started at a long line at check in. The young men were doing their best but were clearly understaffed and we waited a pretty long time to get our room.

Then right as I settled my 5 year old in for a nap, the fire alarm started going off. Of course this is no one’s fault but the hotel was not being evacuated, there was some fluke and the staff couldn’t figure out how to help the fire fighters turn it off. The alarm was so loud inside so we had to wait in the lobby for about an hour because it continued to go off in our room.

Finally it was turned off and we returned to the room. My daughter asked to watch TV and it wouldn’t work despite trying everything.
I called down to the desk and was basically told they were way too busy to fix it and we would have to wait at least 30 minutes. An hour later no one came and we gave up. I don’t care about TV but when you are trying to settle an overactive 5 year old it’s kind of a necessity.

When we gave up we went to eat at Blue Canyon and hoped it would be fixed when we came back. We waited to be seated at restaurant and no one came for 15 minutes. I finally went in and asked if they were open and a very annoyed waitress informed us it was closed due to a private event. Would have been nice to let us know at check in.
Of course we got back to a still broken TV. Called back to the desk and let it ring for 3 minutes straight and no answer.

So I said might as well go enjoy the pool. Got down to the pool and there was a birthday party going on. At least 20 kids screaming on top of their lungs, throwing pool toys off my daughter’s head and running around dangerously jumping full speed into hot tub. It was literally out of control. So that was that. No staff member ever came to the pool while we were there to control the chaos. I love watching kids have fun but this was sheer madness. No one else who came in stayed due to the insanity. After 10 minutes my daughter begged to leave.

We called it a night and were pretty bummed to end our vacation that way. It was very hard to sleep because there was some sort of event happening and drunk people in the halls shouting late. We had to be up at 4am for our flight.

It really felt like understaffing
may have been an issue. There were a lot of other guests rumbling their complaints in the lobby. They had a ball and a pool party going on and staff was over stretched.
The stars I gave it were for nice, clean room and comfy bed.
