We could not have been happier with our stay. The motel is lit all around with holiday lights that most likely are there all the time, and the signs directing and welcoming one to the inn, from either access, were super. Such good marketing, and such a spirit of welcome! The wonderful Trevor, with whom we had several cordial phone conversations, greeted us on our arrival. What a delight. He had made some kind of error, known only to him and not an inconvenience to us, in our reservation and so gave us a room rate $10 per night less than the one advertised. We were in a deluxe king suite, with a fantastic view of the mountains. The living room had a queen-size bed in it, with an additional love seat. As we were just a couple, we let this be our "TV room," though there were huge wall-mounted TVs in both the living- and bedrooms. The kitchen was a small, walk-through galley kitchen, fully apportioned, with every every need thought of. The bedroom was lovely and comfortable, with adequate storage for a stay longer than our two nights. The bathroom was very luxuriously appointed, with wonderful tile, a rain shower-head, plenty of towels (I think every woman needs two bath towels, one each for head and body!) and lovely soaps and other such amenities. Ours were just a bit ratty here and there, but Trevor assured us that the spreads are washed with every change of guest, and that some of the spreads are impacted by the washing while others are not.So, know any rattiness on a spread is simply the result of a good, hard washing! The place was immaculate. Such a comfortable, delightful stay. We will be back!More
