Fun experience with family. Lots of interesting pieces in this collection. Definitely worth a walk through.

Really neat to see all the different items. Plus, it's free. Definitely worth a stroll through for any firearm enthusiast.

If you find yourself in Bass Pro while in Springfield (and who doesn't go to Bass Pro while in Springfield, let's be honest?) you should stop in and check out both this and the Archery Museum. Both of them have plenty to see and lots of cool little pieces of history.

I have lived here my whole life but had never been to this museum. I was truly amazed by the sheer number of items that were here. It’s totally free. The amount of history behind many of these weapons was very interesting. If you get a chance, take an hour or so and take a walk through this museum.

This museum is given over to sporting arms and has several good collections. Some are from the NRA itself and some are from private collections. There are also some interesting collections of military arms and the last time I was there a collection from Remington. The collections rotate so repeat visits are recommended.
