This place pleasantly surprised me. It's not Greek and it's not Italian. It's Mediterranean. That means a little different preparation on some familiar classics. For example I ordered Eggplant Parmesan. It wasn't breaded. The eggplant was cooked to perfection. It was neither tough or mushy. It was slathered in a deeply flavored marinara sauce with a medallion of mozzarella cheese melted on top. Familiar but different. It was delightful.
There are nice options for seating. There is a bar with a porch area. There is the regular dining rooms and then there is a balcony on the back side that wraps around part of the backside of the building. We chose al fresco dining.
The servers were knowledgeable, helpful and quick. Our server earned her tip.
The food is well prepared and tasty with quite a few familiar classics that are a little different.
The olive focaccia bread provided for dipping in olive oil was warm, chewy and paired well with the olive oil and cheese.
We will be back!
