“Quaint Tea Room with Excellent Food”
Reviewed 19 June 2010

Miss Aimee B's Tea Room is located a few blocks from the Saint Charles historic district.and operates in a house listed in the historic register. This restaurant appears to be very popular with the local ladies. It was very busy noon mid week during the non tourist season.
Breakfast and lunch are served. Several rooms on the first floor are available for dining as well as the outside patio under the shade of large trees. The second floor has vendors with various craft items for sale.
When Evelyn, our waitress, discovered that this was our first visit, she thoroughly explained the menu. Most, if not all, food selections are home made. We had a combo club and waldorf salad with fresh fruit and a 3 cheese chicken sandwich - both were very good and filing. The venturesome many wish to try the house specialty drink - a lemonade made with milk - actually quite interesting. We did not have room for the homemade deserts, but they looked delicious.
NOTE: First time visitors - the driveway to the parking lot behind the restaurant is easily missed. It is shared with the neighboring church to the left of the restaurant.

“Aimee B's Tea Room”
Reviewed 18 December 2009

Wonderful place to visit for lunch. More of a ladies kind of place although you do see men on ocassion. Lots of nice salads, quiche, homemade soups and out of this world desserts. If you come to St. Charles this one is a absolute must. Decorated lovely and a quiet place.

“Wonderful, different, homemade!”
Reviewed 21 July 2009

Great sandwiches, salads, quiches, desserts, etc. I have never had anything bad here. More of a ladies day out place or Grandma's birthday kind of place. There is no children's menu but the sandwiches are large enough to split. They offer different items all the time based on what's in season. I will keep eating here over and over.

“Everything was good.”

This place would be great for a baby or bridal shower. It closed at 3pm so we missed the Peach Bomb. The food was delicious.
