Its a must to see if you don't want to miss on anything near Somnath. The journey is comfortable from Somnath to Sasan (Gir), sure shot of spotting the animals, good as a picnic stop for Families, well-maintained gardens which is an add-on.

I would like to hand it out to the Gujarat Government, The Tourism Department and most of all Mr. Amitabh Bachchan for deceiving the general public.
This is one of the most despicable and I’ll managed places that one can visit. The management is I’ll mannered, unpunctual and discourteous at the same time.
The safari itself is a joke to begin with. The condition of the busses is horrible and the safari area is a joke. The animals are kept in captivity and are released when your bus passes.
Please do not waste your money here.

Beat place to spot Lion in Gir and leopard dear and many more animals. Amazing place live watching of Lion is very adventurous

Best safari to see the lions. if you take early morning safari then there will be maximum probability to see the walking lions near the road.i have seen the group of lion just near the safari jeep. really wonderfull memorable experience.

The animals are in a relatively small area and therefore easy to spot. The leopards though were in an enclosure. The experience was similar to going to a zoo by bus - but enjoyable nevertheless
