One of the most serene and peaceful getaway. Had an amazing experience at the whole property. Food was amazing and nature to boundless beauty. The best experience was at Yogshala and Somspa with Mr. Ramesh Bhandari. Another level of meditation and Yog experience we sailed through with him. Also the massage provided by him to my husband was the most relaxing and soothing.

Stayed at the Woods primarily because i was told it well sanitised well and secluded. And that was correct. Delicious and inviting food. Very courteous restaurant staff and relaxing SPA. All in all, Excellent. I always rate the service high looking at the middle and lower level employees. If they are most dedicated the services level reaches a different level. Asif, Anil, Ramesh - just to name a few were always on the tows. Though it was pouring, the service provided by all of them was superlative. Housekeeping was prompt too. I also think the owner of this property has a good taste though now the property need a fresh coat of varnish and paint. Rapair and trimming is required. But all in all very relaxing. I suggest come for 3 night and do nothing.

It was a pleasure staying here. I came here with my family for a small vacation after the lock down, but I must say that the experience was fascinating. The food , the nature in mountains , yoga on mountain was great.

First I have to talk about he people, the staff there were SO helpful. They went above and beyond for us. We were traveling right before the world went crazy with Covid-19 and 1 of us who had intended on traveling onward for work had to cut her trip short and the staff was extremely helpful trying to assist her with rebooking a flight home. They offered to call the airline for her and assist with some of the conversation and it proved to be quite helpful. There was always someone at the front desk to answer all of our numerous questions.
The grounds were very well maintained. The spa and yoga were great. While I did not directly partake one of my travel mates took a private yoga lesson and had a massage, she loved both. The rooms was a good size as there were 3 of us staying in it and we had plenty of room. Great bathroom, HUGE shower! Nice shaded patio.
The food was great and there was plenty of it. Our stay included all food and we enjoyed every bite of it. Again there were plenty of options, they had a standard menu and rotating specials. The breakfast was a great buffet, but post-Covid I'm guessing that may change.
One thing to note: You are in dry state when you stay here. As a tourist you can get a liquor permit, the hotel will assist and they do have a wine shop where you can buy wine and liquor. BUT you can only drink it in your room. While not overly important this was disappointing us as this was the end f our trip and we really would have enjoyed some wine with out great dinners. Again, not a big deal but disappointing and I just want to manage your expectations.
I would definitely recommend a stay here!!

The most peaceful getaway in the forest! They serve the best breakfast which is a range of food and the dinners also lovely. Something for everyone. We got to watch a tradition show one evening as well with dances from the local people. The hotel users is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and we had a terrace overlooking the forestry. The pool is gorgeous and calming, the gym was small but perfect for the two of us to workout in! The have their own organic garden where they grow veggies and we got to pick out some to take back with us! The spa is also incredible.

The hotel is well-managed with close proximity to Gir. Hotel cab services are fairly expensive, so we ended up using local taxi service (Maa Taxi Service, Veraval Gir Somnath) and that turned out to be a great alternative. Visit to Gir was amazing. In addition to spotting and spending satisfactory time with the king of the jungle and his pride, we spotted several other animals including several leopards, spotted deer, and langurs. The hotel is quite a drive from Somnath, and even farther from Dwarka, so plan your stay based on places you plan to visit.
