Christmas vacation...family bonding....a holiday we were looking forward to, with 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 kids.Mr B. Kothari and family
I am short of words for the terrible experience at this so called 'resort', We checked in at 11pm on 23rd night just because there were no sign boards to direct us. ok..let me blame my driver for that.
Upon checkin....which was really not very smooth, we were served food that was just placed on the table covered with foil. On a cold night and cold food!! Staff had left so nobody to warm up the food...take it or leave it attitude by the staff present there.
Next morning breakfast- bread with a pinch of butter, thepla that was so hard that it required an automated saw cutter to cut it and upma....even a dog would not sniff it.
We requested the staff to alter it a bit so that atleast it becomes edible if not delicious. We were curtly told that this is the way it is served and we cannot do anything about it.Mind you, we were not the only guests who complained about this.
Shame on the hospitality we take pride it.
The saga continued with the dinner, which was most repulsive looking and tasteless. The staff was least attentive, literally waiting for us to leave the dining area so they can reach home early.

What an insult to Gujrat/India where we believing our serving a satisfying meal to the guests always. Shame on you Daksh Resort!!
It doesn't end there. No resort charges for activities like cycling. Daskh Resort and AMusement park charges you Rs 35 for using the bicycle for 30 min!!! Some kid banged into the earthen pot and he was asked to pay a spot fine of Rs 300/-. The Govt of India must learn this trick and fill up the nation's coffers.
If you need to purchase something other than in your package, you have to buy a card and recharge it. Fair enough, but if you want to order french fries near the pool, you have to go all the way to the main building, recharge your card, walk back to the restaurent and then place your order.
Wow...if you think all guests are there to cheat you, atleast ensure that card refill is available at all your outlets.
The amusement park rides are exhorbitantly priced.
The worst of the services, hopeless house-keeping, terrible untrained and rude F & B staff and rudest are the Front office staff and the managerial level staff.
One pays money to make a holiday enjoyable and relaxing. Come here and you can experience the worst of everything to the extent that you get insulted again and again for free!!!
Do not stay here under any circumstances if you love and respect yourself. There are other resorts that understand what hospitality means.
