There was extreme weather so we left early to allow plenty of travel time. The roads were in good shape so we arrived shortly after noon. We were in Kansas City for a football game that night and wanted to check in so we could drop our stuff and change clothes before heading into the city for a meal before driving to the stadium. We were told there was a $25 charge to check in prior to 3 PM. If you want to nickel and dime people, that's great, but we'll go back to booking the Sheraton Four Points across the street in the future. They also did a very poor job treating the sidewalks and parking lot for ice. The area immediately in front of the lobby entrance was fine, but everything else was icy and slick. My wife almost fell because they did not bother to treat the parking lot or the exterior sidewalks at all.
This was a total dump smelled like dead rodents, paper thin walls, dirty carpet had to keep my shoes shoes on and the beds were rigged together and made noise. I will pay more to stay elsewhere.
staff was excellent and rooms were nice with great beds and pillows good value for the money and comfortable too thank you
The hotel was clean but old. The room had been redone except for the bathroom. The shower had a hand held sprayer. The whole pipe it connected to was loose from wall. The sprayer was very little water pressure. Not a good experience! The bed next to the bathroom wall was just that. Against the wall so close you could not get in or out on that side. The window had a sort of mattress in it. It looked like old blood was on the covering. The channels were very limited on the TV set also. Not a place we would chose again.
