Hana and Ben of Daisy Bank Cottages provide a very comfortable, private retreat, with farm activities, bush to explore, the luxuries of Richmond at hand and two very homey cottages. It is our favourite place to escape the craziness of city life, and from which to explore south-east Tasmania. This was our third stay and we expect to return. Thanks for all the tips, eggs, bacon and friendly smiles.

Perfect mix of old and modern. Rustic getaway cottage exterior tugging at the heartstrings. Golden timber floors and beams inside with whitewashed stone walls and a warm log fire ... and then glorious fresh new bathroom (jacuzzi time) and bright kitchen area. Hospitable hosts nearby round out the whole experience. A+plus all round.

Love love love this place.
Friendly, homely, comfortable and flexible.
Great fresh breakfast supplies with adequate facilities to cook up wonderful meals using the amazing local produce!
Love the peacefulness of the farm and the opportunity of exploring the paddocks and giving the horses, chooks, baby chicks, dogs or even baby lambs a treat.
A warm log fire adds to atmosphere and keeps out the winter chills.

We spent one night here last week before flying out from Hobart at the end of our holiday in Tasmania. Wish we had known about it earlier as it was so lovely we would have stayed longer. It's proximity to Hobart, airport and historic Richmond mean it is the ideal location but it is the accommodation and hospitality that won us over. It is so spacious and has a gorgeous bathroom with quality fittings to rival the best hotels. Wake up to the view over the country side and a fridge with fresh farm eggs, bacon etc., such a shame we didn't have time to enjoy a long breakfast.

We will be recommending this place to our friends as a "must visit" - thank you for a lovely last night.

Very friendly people that run the farm.Loved the Accomadation full kitchen with everything that you need, very clean.Outdoor seating to enjoy the view plus the farm animals that come pass the cottage.2 min drive to Richmond and the bridge.Richmond Bridge is a must maybe pack a blanket as there is a good lawn area to sit and feed the ducks some parking but does fill up quickly. The Bakery is also a must will not disappoint yum.
