Prompt pick up from cruise ship and transported to small dock area to get on fast boat tot the islands. We were pre warned about bird strikes so most had windcheater coats on. Luckily no hits recorded, the islands were covered in birds a most spectacular sight, but not smell. Sea lions in abundance but few penguins. A lunch break was followed by a trip to the desert, with views from the edge to the beach area. Great trip good communication with the company. Would have been easier if you could pay by credit card.

Great tour of the Islas de Ballestas by boat in the morning, then Paracas National Reserve in the afternoon. Our guide Alex was great--very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The boat tour was amazing--birds, sea lions, and penguins, and a view of the candelabra geoglyph. After a 30 minute lunch break in Paracas, we drove to the Natural Reserve. Who knew that just off the coast there was this Mars-like desert? Definitely the best tour of our trip, and much less expensive than the ship tour. I highly recommend.

We visited Paracas from a cruise ship. Before we left the UK we communicated with Lucio and arranged a one day tour visiting the Islas Ballestas in the morning and a trip into the desert in the afternoon. This was a fantastic day. Lucio and his team were there to greet us on the dockside and took us to Paracas by coach. We went by fast boat to the Islas Ballestas and saw a great variety of sea birds including penguins and also sea lions. In the afternoon we went into the desert which was very interesting and a completely different experience. We were very impressed with the arrangements and efficiency of this organisation.

We did the Islas de Ballestas tour and Paracas National Reserve which was from 9am to 3pm. It was excellent. Tour guide Alex did a great job with his English speaking and explaining many points of interest to us.

We were collected direct from the gangway in the port and driven 20 minutes to the tourist port where we boarded a comfortable motor launch well equipped with life vests and spacious seats. The boat went out to Islas de Ballestas and we got to see all the amazing birds and wildlife.

Once back on land we had a 30 minute break to buy snack or drink then on coach and making several stops in the Paracas national reserve. It’s stunning desert landscape is really fascinating. All in all a good day out and less expensive than onboard shore excursions.

Our cruise ship was docked at Paracas (Pisco) for 1 day and I found this company to be highly recommended by others.
I booked with Lucio and had a wonderful day, my group grew from 20 to 40 after a posting on cruise critic, but this was no bother.
We had a 1st class tour to Ballestas Islands with just 20 people per boat, the boats were very luxurious speed boats with plenty of room, we saw hundreds of thousands of birds, seals and sea lions, penguins and more.
After an hour in Paracas for refreshments we then went to the Natural Reserve, unbelievable landscape, walked on the desert, put our toes in the Pacific Ocean
We were taken back to our ship at the required time.
Our guide was Diego and he was very knowledgeable and a very nice person.
Overall one of the best tours we have done.
