Check in was easy and the bedroom was comfy enough but I found the space to be very dated and the breakfast so-so. Donna was hospitable and gave helpful information about local trails and restaurants.

We enjoyed two nights in this lovely home overlooking the harbor. We felt immediately welcomed as we were shown to our comfortable room. Each morning Donna prepared a different, delicious, traditional Newfoundland breakfast. Donna shared informational about local restaurants and activities and had a few local crafts and books available for sale.

The last house on Fishing Point Road, sitting right on the edge of the water. A little cool and wet to enjoy the deck that provided a great view of the port and out into Hare Bay. The room I had was adequate for myself, getting in and out of the well-appointed was a little tight. Donna provided great information on the area and her breakfasts were very good, consisting of locally sourced breads, fish and moose sausage. The breakfast and sitting area was a great place to look out and enjoy the scenery. Located a short walk up to the Lighthouse, Lighthouse Restaurant, Santana and other trails.

Great location--fantastic views, close to great hikes and good restaurant, very warm and welcoming hostess, the very best breakfast we had during our almost 3 weeks in NL, and a comfortable room (ensuite). Donna made us feel right at home and she was great company-- learned a lot about the area and the culture over breakfast. Highly recommend this spot.

First what is great about this place - the hostess - the view - the location - the breakfast. But the rooms are very tiny and not recommended for anyone over 1.4 meters. Only one chair, no place for clothes, bathroom door hard to manipulate to use. Other than the size of the room this place is quite good, particularly the breakfast. There is a sitting room on the first floor that is quite nice.
