Very nice, bit quirky owner will help you choose your fish caught that same day. Very flavorful, and in a nice setting outdoors. Plenty of mezzes available, and all looked very appealing. But, even though we arrived before a much larger group of locals, the locals were served drinks, mezze, and full meals before we even received our drinks, or mezze. Luckily, they gave us some water, sunflower seeds and some lightly steamed and spiced carrots that we could nosh on for a half hour, before our food came.

We chose this place from this very site (trip advisor) and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a small family run restaurant, with simple yet deliciously prepared local dishes. The owner took us to the kitchen and introduced us to his family, very friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and tidy, with a local touch.
We enjoyed our fresh fish, which was delicious while chatting a bit with the owner.

We visited this relatively upmarket family run restaurant in Sidon facing the corniche and a little bit away from Sidon castle and souk area seeing the high ratings and raving reviews this establishment has managed to collect.

Although we were not very impressed - probably it is due to the small Sultan Ibrahim fish we selected- the service was OK and the owner did pass by requesting us to give the establishment a good review. We had also Tabouleh and Hammous - not the best we have had either in Lebanon or elsewhere.

In short we didn't think that the rating this restaurant has been receiving was justified- at the best a 4.0 or 4.5 rating would suffice. The positive thing is that you get to choose your fish and it comes freshly cooked .
