We dined at this restaurant last night and I cannot rave about it enough. The owners are charming, the village is spectacular, the food was truly wonderful. Don't miss this place! It's only 4 tables and it's in a centuries old bakery. The town is wonderful to explore before dinner. It's a set menu, but they ask about all your likes and dislikes beforehand. The duck confit was amazing and the fruits and vegetables all fresh from the market.

Provence has no shortage of quaint B&Bs in postcard worthy villages, but what really set this one apart was the proprietors and their superb service. Roger is incredibly personable and Cathy's dinner was hands down the best meal we had during our 8 day stay in the region (chevre and pomegranate salad, duck breast, cauliflower au gratin, and green beans with a local apricot tart for dessert). The dining room has a rich history that Roger explains charmingly throughout the meal. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise because it had fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to the expected baked goods and coffee, and was served in a sunny rooftop courtyard. The rooms are situated in such a way that two were easily adjoined to accommodate our unique family situation (my husband, myself, our baby, my parents, and my sister). Both rooms overlooked the picturesque road. The techies of the group were very pleased to have WiFi. One of the rooms had a refrigerator, which proved very useful. The location in the old village is ideal for walking about and enjoying the sites. The only downside was that the rooms lacked air conditioning (though a fan was provided in one of the rooms), and the check in time was quite strict so we found ourselves waiting on the street until the agreed upon arrival time. We only stayed one night on our whirlwind tour of the area, but I can see how this spot would make for a very lovely weekend retreat. All of us had a wonderful stay and would certainly be happy to return and recommend Belle de Nuit to friends. Bonus: these were our only hosts who were fluent in English during our trip.

We stayed at this great place for a week in early April. We were very well looked after by the host couple Laurie and Roger. Both speak excellent English and really care about their guests. Every morning we got various good breakfasts with fresh fruit juice or a mango smoothie. One morning we were spoiled with pancakes and maple syrup. The hotel has five rooms and the building is from the seventeenth century which gives the place lots of character. The surroundings are also very special and there is a lot to discover. For us it was the perfect place to rest and wind down.

Thanks to Laurie and Roger for their hospitality. Everything in the room was great, breakfast was awesome - handmade fruit juices and pancakes on the last day were perfect. Very friendly, charming and magnifique house in the heart of such a beautiful village. All you need for a perfect weekend.
