It was only local youth's there and they thought it was funny see 2 swedes.
Nice cold water in that little 'pond' with fish that bite your feet so don't get a heart attack. Don't forget water you need it after all steps down and you need it on the way up.

The place is a little far from Goa city, but is very different when compared to other places in Goa. From Netravali town, there are 2 routes one to Mainapi waterfall and other to Savri.

We have to trek for about 45 minutes by crossing 6 small water bodies through forest to reach the waterfalls. When we went in december there was not much water to we trekked till the top of the fall which is a little difficult.

There is no much water and we can easily bath in the falls.

Overall loved the place and the trekking

What an adventure! Long walk through the mucky fields, getting wet in the rivulet, climbing the slippery rocks. Its nearly 1 hour walk till you get to the waterfall, cold water. Much travel light, take few snack and plenty of water..

This is a waterfall which is hidden and only very locals of the city know about it. May be 45 min walk to the waterfall from the village. Some young lads took us there to see these beautiful waterfalls. Relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful falls.

Trekkers, adventurers and outdoorsy people will enjoy a trek to the Waterfalls in Netravali. In fact there are 2 waterfalls here , one called Mainapi and the other at Savri village. This review pertains to the Mainapi waterfall.Once you enter the forest gate at the Netravali wildlife sanctuary, you have to park your vehicle at the start of a walking trail. The rest of the journey proceeds on foot.It will take about an hour to reach the waterfalls.I would recommend that one take a guide from the village as the route can be quite confusing as we discovered. Once there however, it is sheer bliss. The waters cascade from quite a height.I would recommend visitors to carry a picnic basket and make a day trip out of this visit.A must do in my opinion.Elderly people and those not in good physical condition should reconsider as the trek is quite tiring.
