Group opted for burgers and French dip. College-age loved waffle fries. Good atmosphere. Amazing Smoked meat smell when you walked in.

I was visiting from Houston, and we ordered "to go," and the food was exceptional!
The blackened chicken salad was spectacular, as were the smoked wings! Can't wait to go back!

Driving through on the way to Illinois and wanted something other than fast food. It is a little way off the Interstate but we felt it was well worth it.
I had the mushroom swiss burger with the Portabella fries. Very tasty but way more fries than I could eat.
My husband opted for the Pastrami Reuben without the sauer kraut. He also enjoyed the waffle fries. Delicious.
This definitely a favorite of the locals all of the tables were full by the time we left.

Traveling all day, wanted a local restaurant and this fit the bill.
Not a quiet or noisy place but just right!
Late supper so tried to eat light, had the potato skins with pulled pork. They were a bit dry but tasty. Spouse had the Cajun catfish that he thought was perfect.
Too bad we don’t live nearby.

We went dinner there for dinner on Saturday before the Mizzou game. It was busy at 6 PM, and for good reason. The food was very well prepared and reasonably priced. They have a lot of BBQ choices that they smoke themselves. They also had a great selection of burgers and classic sandwiches as well as more complete meals. Their wine and beer lists were solid and reasonably priced. I had smoked chicken wings and they were probably the best I can remember. My wife had a half rack of pork ribs; another great choice. Everything is hand prepared and fresh. Even with a big crowd, the servers were very nice and the food came reasonably quick. We will probably become regulars there.
