“Mel's Hard Luck Dinner Review”
Reviewed 2 February 2014

Mel's Hard Luck Dinner has singing waitresses where you will meet Ondria Rose, who is one of the singing waitresses. They have great food, free entertainment where the waitresses will take turns singing to customers. They are great to listen to, they all sound like professional singers who work in a Diner. You can purchase their CD's in the gift shop & even go back to the waitress of the CD that you purchased & they will even autograph the CD for you. 100% recommend this restaurant for everybody to eat at during lunch or dinner.

“Entertaining lunch”
Reviewed 20 January 2014

The menu offers something for everyone, simple and inexpensive. The waiters and waitresses are very talented vocalists and make this a fun family friendly experience.

Cute shops in a pedestrian mall type setting. Was there during November so it was beautifully decorated.

Way over priced .. You pay a red lobster bill for a less than McDonalds meal .. We got out food an the plate was full of grease the fries seemed like they had been cooked for while an put back in the fryer to reheat them .. But we did voice our opinion when paying out and they cut our 50 dollar check down to 25 .

“Not as good as it use to be”
Reviewed 12 January 2014

Well we went there a few days after Christmas. They were still singing Christmas songs and not very upbeat ones. The singing staff consisted of several middle aged, over~ weight women, a few old men, and 2 attractive men in their 30's. All the songs were slow and depressing. This place looks like a 50's malt shop, but the music just seemed very dated and depressing. In previous years, the staff was cute, young college age kids with some spunk. The food was basic, hamburgers, malts, fries, etc. I hope the owner will find some new people to bring in and bring back the upbeat and fun atmosphere of the past!
