After reading reviews I had low expectations for this place. I was pleasantly surprised. It's well appointed, everything works like it's supposed to and it's close to everything except for a small drive to the beach.

I work on the road so I’m always staying in different types of hotels and experiencing different types of customer service. Gracie has been one of THE best, receptionist I have ever come across. Her attentiveness and communication has been immaculate. Always smiling when coming in from a long day and always making sure you are enjoying your stay. She definitely made this work experience one to remember.

Absolutely filthy! And should be closed until they renovate!
Hairs all over the place. Worn out toilet. Worn out shower stall. And vomit - yes I said vomit on the mattress & dust ruffle (You could see where the vomit stain was on the floor) Did not notice until the next morning as the lights are very dim.
Carpets were disgusting- I didn’t even want my house shoes to touch.
Run! Run! Run to another hotel!

If I could have left 0 stars for this hotel, I would have. It took over 30 minutes to check in. They did not have the type of room we reserved available. Instead got an ADA room right next to the lobby. That in itself, would have been ok, if the room had been decent. The room was filthy. The shower was cracked and full of mold. The bathroom floor felt slimy, even with shoes on. I would have requested a different room, but all of the people in our group were having similar issues. Attempted to discuss with management, but management didn’t seem to be in, and did not call me as requested. Definitely would not stay here again.

This was a great place to stay as we traveled from Texas to South Carolina. It's located conveniently off the interstate in an area with plenty of shops and eateries. The room was spacious with a well stocked kitchenette. The facility was clean and the lobby area open and comfortable. The free breakfast offered good choices and the attendant, Lucinda, went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The rest of the staff was also courteous and helpful. This was a great value and we'll look for Home2 Suites on future trips.
