We were passing through and stayed overnight at this hotel and it was lovely. Clean and spacious rooms, nice breakfast, with creal, boiled eggs, omlet with cheeses, bacon, pastries, oat meal, toast and some other items as well. Right cross from the beach. Somewhat small pool, but again beach was right cross the street, so it wasn’t a big deal. Wouldn’t stay for long term stay probably, just because not much around the area.

We’ve visited this hotel twice in the past month. The property seems nice and clean. But the breakfast ruins it for this place. Both times, it has been consistently bad. We are diamond elite members, and we know that this is subpar for ihg. First problem is the milk. They serve it in a big open pitcher, stored in the fridge. It doesn’t even have a top on it. Everybody can pour what they need from it. It’s gross. And this time, it’s on the verge of being sour. The breakfast attendant was never around our first visit. We had to ask the front desk where she was two mornings, because we needed things. Both times we asked for her, she would come out of the door beside the check in desk. She was present this visit, and a little more attentive. I asked her if there would be more bacon 40 minutes before breakfast was over and she said no. She was cooking links instead. If I was managing this hotel, I’d want to be made aware of these issues.

This is a hotel in a great location. I have been here twice and this last visit will be my last. I made a reservation through the Priority Club site for a king room with roll in shower due to my wife's disability. I guaranteed it with a credit card and received a confirmation stating roll in shower. When I arrived i was told my room was not available. I argued with the desk person and even showed her my confirmation. She made it sound like it was my fault and that the hotel was completely full and would not even look. Because it was late, we decided to try it for one night and go home the next day rather than stay the two nights we had booked The room was awful! The toilet was very low (lower than standard and much lower than comfort level), The shower was missing grout and the tub was worn. The AC was noisy and the thermostat did not work. When I sat on the couch, I sank! My wife could only sit in the office chair and I had to hold it so she could get in and out. My wife could not get into the tub, and used the second floor public restroom since it had ADA approved toilets. We were very happy to leave the next morning. No one asked if we were OK or why we were leaving. No one cared!
I contacted the hotel management and received an apology letter, but that was all. They didn't even buy a stamp since it arrived by email. Not what I expected from Holiday Inn who I have been loyal to for many many years.
If you have a disability requiring accommodation, look elsewhere, or make sure you call the hotel several times prior to arrival, even if you have a guaranteed reservation. They will give your room away!

I’m just finishing a night at the Holiday Inn Express Gulfport Beach. I arrived about 8pm after three flights, jetlagged and tired. Paulette, who checked me in, was wonderful. I was on an award night and got bumped up to an ocean view suite, and she gave me a couple cookies at check in, a nice touch. The hotel is along the beach road (Hwy 90) about 15 minutes drive from the airport. It’s maybe five minutes drive from downtown Gulfport. It’s also opposite the beach. A great location for me. My room on the third floor is quiet and comfortable. I have a one bedroom suite, with a separate living room, small kitchen, and a large bathroom. There is modest noise from the highway and from passing trains a few miles away, but not bothersome to me. Breakfast in the morning is included and was fine. There is also a Waffle House restaurant a minute’s walk away. Parking onsite is free. A good place for a night and I enjoyed my stay.

Nice clean hotel good location with a great view. The staff was so friendly, they seemed happy we were there. Breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast with some hot food choices. They also had a small laundromat. We took an Uber to the Rack House. I would recommend you go there, it was good!
