I do not recommend staying at this "Dis-Comfort Inn" . The bottom door does not lock and stays open all night. When I got to my 3rd-floor room it was not cleaned. The bed was unmade and the bathroom was used. The room smelled strongly of mildew. They switched me to another 3rd-floor room. I noticed that about 10 rooms and the doors and windows were open, also the hallway windows and stair doors were open. Propping the stair doors open is a fire code violation. The hallway smelled of mildew. My new room also had the window wide open. It smelled mildly of mildew. The fixtures were rusted, and the smoke alarm was difunctional and was hanging from the ceiling along with the sprinkler head, also a fire code violation. The bathtub had huge gaps that were kind of caulked but still left major gaps, probably filling up with water and causing the mildew. The floor in the bathroom at the tub was mushy. The tile was cracked and coming up and blocking the bathroom door from closing. Throughout the room, the electrical plates were cracked or missing. The walls had been recently painted as there was paint dripped on the sheets. I closed the window and we left and returned late that night. the room smelled horrible, maybe due to the closed window, my eyes later were burning. I tried to get a refund and get out of there. The desk attendant said she gave me a refund and printed it out and highlighted it. It was just my bill with a handwritten note saying "refund amount". She didn't refund anything. But she was pleasant. Then the manager arrived. She was extremely unpleasant and rude. she said if the room was used all day she could not refund me. I told her I was at a soccer tournament and dinner all day and had just got back around 10 pm. She didn't believe me and went to inspect the room. She said I was lying and would not refund me. that lady was so incredibly rude. I will say I was very polite to her. I never let my anger influence how I conducted myself with her. I was on the phone till midnight with choice hotels unsuccessfully trying to get a refund so we could go to another hotel. This nasty smelly mildewed hotel ruined our father-son soccer weekend. Please don't stay here. If you do go out drinking and return late and wake up early to minimize your discomfort. This is not a Comfort Inn, It's the Discomfort Inn!
