With their own Butcher Shop & Bakery you know that the food is always fresh. Just visited again a few days ago & as usual not disapointed. Ordered Deep Fried Caluflowe with Ranch Dipping Sauce always our favorite & still is. We had Mushroom Burgers & Fries & loved every bite. Even order Old Fashions & they knew how to make a good one. Server was very plesant & efficent. Looking forward to our next trip.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a couple of Reuben sandwiches and Tap Surlys.
Very good, casual atmosphere marred only by insipid radio pop music. Three levels of dining, varied menu items.

Food tasted good, service was outstanding. It was a little loud but then again it is a bar.
Wonderful atmosphere.

We've been to Brines in downtown Stillwater (not the Brines market on the edge of town) the last two Monday's for their burger night. $2.50 per burger... Choice of buns....onion, rye, white, pumpernickel, etc. A little extra for choice of cheese and extra toppings... I had the onion bun with Swiss, fried onions, fried mushrooms and bacon. Excellent burger for a great price. We also got an order of onion rings one week and the potato skins the next week. The burgers are pretty large so we probably didn't need the appetizers. They also have a great selection of beers on tap and other drinks. The interior of the restaurant is pretty dated, but for the price it works. Also, the restaurant is up a very steep flight of stairs, so this may be a problem for some.

Many choices for the toppings on your $2.50 hamburger. Each with a small price.
Upstairs - steep stairs.
