Forget the stereotypical Victorian b & b; staying at the Elephant Walk is like visiting your favorite sister in Bangkok, Thailand. Rita, the hostess, lived in Thailand for many years and brought a houseful of furniture and art home with her. The bedrooms are comfortable and exotic, and very romantic. Rita is clearly someone who really enjoys taking care of people and she does a great job of it! She is also a fabulous cook. The breakfast was overwhelming and wonderful, and included the best scones we have ever had.

While on business in Stillwater, I had the fantastic treat to stay at The Elephant Walk B&B. The owners were on vacation in Thailand for the winter but their daughter was a wonderful host. She let me have my pick of the entire place but suggested a suite for me with a fireplace and whirlpool. A bottle of wine, cheese, artisian bread, fruit and nuts were waiting for me and the music was already on in the room. I really liked how this B&B did not have the slightest creepy/ghosty vibe of others I have stayed it. As the owner's daughter pointed out, it was a very comforting, calming place. The entire house was decorated with stuff from Thailand, which was very unique. The night I stayed there was heavy sleet and snow and since the guests park in the back and enter the house in the front, the owner's daughter's husband came out to help bring my belongings in the house. I ended up dining at the recommended bistro and also got a nice massage from a masseuse that the owner's daughter recommended as well. In the morning, I had a delicious breakfast of stuffed french toast and a fancily cut quarter of pineapple. At the Elephant Walk, all details have been thought of and you. Definitely won't be dissapointed! I would recommend this B&B to everyone.

A beautiful evening at the Elephant Walk...The evening of our stay the owners were on vacation so their daughter was running the Inn ...She was kind and very welcoming... We enjoyed our time talking with her...
Stayed in the Cadiz Garden Suite, very spacious and comfortable...A chilled bottle of champagne, and a basket of cheese, fruit and crackers were waiting for us when we arrived...An added bonus was a well stocked refrigerator...
The best part for me was the attached patio equiped with lounge chairs and sunshine!!!
A Very Charming Bed and Breakfast...

Room Tip: I was able to view all the rooms and they all looked very nice and comfortable

The Elephant Walk is a beautiful, unique experience. We were in our own little world with all the amenities one would need at a B&B. (wine cheese crackers and fruit waiting for us in our room, a well stocked fridge, high quality linens, towels, etc.)We were greeted warmly on our arrival and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a fabulous hostess.

The rooms were clean and welcoming. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend The Elephant Walk to anyone looking for a fun, unique getaway.

We had a lovely time at the Elephant Walk. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, the room we stayed in (Cadiz) was charming, and our breakfast was amazing. The scones are especially tasty. We recommend it highly.
