As Chinese restaurants go, this one is like many of the better ones: nice decor, friendly staff, large menu, small bar, etc. The food was carefully prepared. We went for the unfamiliar items, Mao's favorite pork belly, bright green stir fried A Choy cabbage, and a fairly ordinary chicken dish which we ordered to have something familiar at hand. Next time we may venture into the tripe or the spicy rabbit. Great place for a bit of adventure cuisine.

We used to eat at this restaurant many years ago. At one point it became not nearly as good and we stopped. I don't know why but, a few months ago we stopped by and had a really terrific Chinese meal. Since then we have returned two more times and each time had an excellent experience. The service was great as was the food. We loved the spicy garlic eggplant and had a spicy chicken dish that we were warned was "hot". Usually here in Minnesota "hot" means Minnesota hot, generally not very. This was wonderfully spicy and flavorful. So an old favorite place is now a new favorite once again.

I recommend going earlier, as I went after 1pm and they refused to refill dishes that they had run out of. And the sitting items weren't very fresh, but still pretty tasty. Next time I will go before noon to get the freshest items. They also have a crowd right around the noon hour.

Flavorful and great variety. But come early as the place gets packed at noon! Once you've tried it you will understand why.

Had fried vegetable potstickers which were good but the garlic chicken wings have the life deep fried out of them, too crispy to eat. $13 for any plate unless you want any kind of seafood than its $16, serving size is totally not worth it
