Our stay at the Delta Marriott was a 5 star visit for us! We arrived after a long car trip from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Trevor checked us in quickly & went above & beyond to provide a room that exceeded our needs & expectations!
The lobby greets you with a nice aroma. Our room was spacious & quiet. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. There is a restaurant/tavern on property that has great food & service. As we were unloading our luggage Mohamed came to assist us with a great smile. He also gave us good news about the route going home. He made our day with that tidbit of information. This hotel will not disappoint.

This used to be a Ramada and is now rebranded to Delta and is part of the Marriott chain. Decent hotel but located more for business than pleasure. It's in the industrial area and you'll need transport to get into the city. Facilities up to standard and the rooms are a good size.
Well set up gym and pool. Also has a coffee place in the lobby where you can get breakfast. Avoid the Burrito, not sure what was in it but it was not great. Opted for the fruit/yogurt/granola on the other days. The hot food for breakfast here is just nuked in a box.
There is an attached restaurant (400) that I reviewed separately and a few other fast food places nearby.
Right now the downside is getting to the hotel using online maps, a road right behind the hotel is being built and it's confusing the maps like crazy, coming from the airport my uber driver got so lost I just walked the last bit across the new road.
Also there is some construction going on in the building, we had 2 false fire alarms caused by workers and had to evacuate the building. Obviously this is a short term thing but was a pain to deal with as people didn't really know what we should be doing.
Staff seemed helpful and happy.

Room Tip: there don't appear to be any views worth having. Even right next to ice machine and elevators I couldn't hear them at all.

Mr. T,

First of all, thank you for choosing The Delta Hotels Minneapolis Northeast for your visit last month. We appreciate the genuine feedback and critique of our service and offerings, as it helps us provide a better experience in the future. I’m sorry to hear that you found the breakfast burrito in The Mid-City Coffee Shop to be less than great. I understand how frustrating it is to get food that doesn’t satisfy. We take pride in the fact that we make all of the grab and go items fresh every morning in the Twin Cities 400 Tavern’s kitchen, and our aim is to offer a remarkable experience for every guest we serve. I am truly sorry we fell short on this goal during your stay.
The construction both within the hotel and in the area around the hotel have certainly provided some challenges for us, and we are excited to see the end of these projects soon. Not knowing what to do during a fire alarm can certainly be frustrating as well, and I apologize for the inconvenience it caused you during your stay. Please consider staying with us in the future and perhaps trying our restaurant, The Twin Cities 400 Tavern for breakfast.

Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us,

Ryan Haas
Director of Food and Beverage
