We loved staying here. The room was beautiful, with a kitchen, sitting area, bedroom area and lovely bathroom. There was a little terrace just outside. The pool was cool but inviting too, after a hot hike. We also loved the wonderful sculptures which Maria, our host, had made, scattered all over the grounds and indoor areas. We couldn't work out how to ship home the lovely marble yacht in our room but we were tempted.
Because we were walking and had no car, Maria also gave us a delicious dinner with home made chutneys and wonderful wines from her family estate. The conversation was fascinating and the night we spent here was a highlight of our week in the area.More
