This is so much better than the old restaurant at Buck Hill! It is the sister restaurant of Las Tortillas in Rosemount which is a favorite of ours. They have updated the decor which is nice. The food and margaritas are very good. Between the four of us we ordered the burrito bowl, the chimichanga, the quesadilla, and the reuben quesadilla. All of the dishes were very fresh and inventive. It is not your usual heavy Mexican food. They do not provide free chips and salsa though, but for $7 they bring a large pan of chips with guacamole, salsa, and chips with refills. The service was a bit slow at times and our server needed to be reminded of a few things that she forgot. They will need to work on that for the busy ski season. We will definitely be back though.

New favorite restaurant. I've been to so many bad restaurant at ski slopes, this is beyond a breath of fresh air. Not just a good ski slope restaurant but in general one of the best restaurants south of the river in the Minneapolis area. Incredibly fresh food with a downtown Minneapolis flair. Highly recommend this restaurant. Lots of gluten-free options also.

I used to hang out at Buck Hill and the Sports Bucket years ago. We heard through our neighbor that the restaurant made a huge upgrade and is really good. We went last evening and it was so much fun and the food was great! I had the fish special, Mahi mahi and my wife had the burrito bowl, each dish was full of flavor, wonderful presentation and did I say it tasted great?! Service was very good and our waiter was very fun. Thanks for the upgrade Buck Hill! I just may have to take up skiing again well if I don't, I know I will be back for the food! FYI- menu is limited, but selections range from a burger to tacos, full bar, great views looking out at Buck, small venue but decor is spot on for a ski hill restaurant!

An awesome upgrade to the renovated Buck Hill Ski area. The food is wonderful and the views of the slopes are amazing. The next time we won't even ski. We might just get margaritas and watch people fall.

Stopped at the restaurant/bar for some food before hitting the hill, they do not take gift cards for Buck Hill. Food was good with limited menu but the beer was good and cold. The hot drink menu was excellent (Hot Apple Pie was my favorite) Snow was as good as could be for being above 35 degrees at the time we were there. Lift lines were very short so take as many runs as we could. Lots of small features for a terrain park. No price difference no matter when you show up unless you are just wanting the morning. $32 wasn't bad for 3 hours though.
